Twenty-five years ago, on 13th May 2001, I took an oath to serve the nation by joining the Indian Army. What started as a young man’s dream became a life-defining journey of discipline, sacrifice, brotherhood, and purpose. For 16 years, I had the honour of wearing the uniform — including serving as a Special Forces operator, where every mission demanded courage, resilience, teamwork, and absolute commitment. Those years taught me lessons no classroom ever could: Stay calm under pressure Lead from the front Trust your team with your life Adapt, improvise, and overcome Never quit when the mission matters The transition from military life to the corporate world was another mission altogether. Over the last 9 years as a Physical Security professional, I realised that leadership, integrity, risk management, and operational excellence are universal languages. The battlefield may change, but the mindset to protect, serve, and lead remains the same. Today, as I look back at this 25-year journey, I feel gratitude: To my brothers-in-arms, mentors, family, colleagues, and everyone who stood beside me through the highs and lows. To the young guns out there — especially those dreaming of serving the nation or building a meaningful career — remember this: Success is not built overnight. It is built in the hard days nobody sees. In discipline when motivation fades. In courage when fear whispers otherwise. And in the decision to keep moving forward, one step at a time. Uniform or corporate suit — your attitude, character, and consistency will always define you. Proud of the journey. Still learning. Still serving in a different way. May 2026Everyone talks about Design Thinking. Few talk about what it actually looks like when it works. It doesn't look like a sticky note workshop. It doesn't look like a five-step diagram on a slide. It doesn't look like a one-day sprint that gets filed away. Here's what it actually looks like 👇 1. It starts with a question nobody has asked yet Not "how do we improve this feature" — but "are we solving the right problem in the first place?" The reframe is where the real value lives. 2. The research makes people uncomfortable When Design Thinking is working, findings challenge assumptions. Stakeholders get surprised. Sometimes defensive. That discomfort means you've found something real. 3. Ideas get killed quickly and without ego Prototypes are rough on purpose. The goal is to learn fast, not to be right. Teams that do this well have no attachment to their first idea. 4. The solution changes the brief When it's working, what you design often looks nothing like what was originally asked for. Because the research revealed the real problem was somewhere else entirely. 5. It doesn't end at launch Real Design Thinking treats launch as a hypothesis, not a finish line. The best teams keep listening after shipping. Because users will always find ways to surprise you. Design Thinking isn't a process. It's a mindset. And mindsets don't show up in workshops. They show up in the decisions you make when nobody is watching. Which of these have you actually experienced in your work? 👇 #DesignThinking #UXResearch #ServiceDesign #HumanCentredDesign #UXDesign #ProductDesign #UIUXDesign
May 2026ISO 9001:2015 – My Understanding of Quality Management Systems I recently took time to study and break down ISO 9001:2015 into a simplified, structured format to better connect its clauses with practical application. This carousel is my attempt to present a concise and experience-driven interpretation of the standard—focusing on how its principles translate into real-world organizational practices. While I’ve made every effort to stay aligned with the intent of the standard, this is a personal summary and interpretation. There may be nuances or details that differ from the official ISO documentation. 📌 Disclaimer: This content is based on my understanding of ISO 9001:2015 and is intended for learning and knowledge sharing purposes only. Apr 2026I’m truly honored to receive the Awards for Excellence —the most prestigious recognition at Infosys, in two categories, Delivery Excellence (Best Service Line : MFGADM) and Sales Excellence (Large Deal Sales Management). AFE is larger than life, often called our Oscars, so consider this my acceptance speech :) My sincere thanks to the leaders and mentors who continue to inspire and guide me. To my incredible team—this achievement belongs to you as much as it does to me.
