Interesting to see Structure Research ’s latest data centre Sustainability Quadrant (SRSQ), with AirTrunk recognised among global leaders in digital infrastructure sustainability. Over the past few years, I’ve seen the conversation around digital infrastructure evolve rapidly, particularly as AI accelerates demand and greater attention is placed on how data centres scale sustainably and responsibly. Rankings like these are valuable because they increasingly recognise what matters: efficiency, transparency, renewable energy adoption, and delivering measurable progress at scale. But scaling digital infrastructure sustainably requires more than individual company efforts. It requires long-term planning, continued innovation, and stronger collaboration across industry and governments. As demand for digital infrastructure continues to grow, sustainability needs to remain embedded in how we design, power, and operate data centres.
