I’m thrilled to announce that I’ve become a Contentful Certified Solutions Architect 🎉 This new certification adds to my existing credentials as a Contentful Certified Professional and Contentful Certified Content Manager. The Solutions Architect certification allowed me to go even deeper into complex, scenario-based challenges grounded in real-world cases, covering areas such as content modeling, integration patterns, performance optimization, governance, and operational best practices — all in the context of designing and implementing modern digital experiences with Contentful. Completing this third certification reflects my ongoing commitment to deepening my expertise in MACH architecture and delivering scalable, well-structured digital solutions.

May 2026Where people see boats, I see revenues. From an idea started in 2005 to reality. Business-state -> normalized indices -> composite factors -> visual-state. Move on: from representing reality to shaping it in advance.
May 2026Lesson learned. Scaling implicit workflows with AI only scales the inefficiency, because agents amplify whatever system they are connected to: if the workflow is unclear, ritualized or outcome-agnostic, the organization simply becomes faster at producing friction, noise and low-value work.
May 2026I came back from the Felix Stamm Tournament in Poland without the decisions I had hoped for. But I came back a better fighter having represented my home country Boxing Ireland ☘️ Those two things can exist at the same time. After my first fight, the messages came in. Coaches across the US and Ireland — people whose opinions I respect — all saying the same thing. You won that fight. And maybe I did. But one judge saw it differently, and in amateur boxing that's the decision. You take it on the chin and you move forward. Anyone who has spent time in a boardroom knows that feeling. You delivered. The work was exceptional. The outcome didn't reflect it. A pitch you should have won. A promotion that went another way. A decision that didn't land in your favour despite everything pointing toward it. What you do next is the only thing that matters. I sat corner side for eight of my teammates' fights this week and watched something I haven't been able to stop thinking about. Boxing Ireland’s Head Coach Damien Kennedy navigated each one with precision. Fully in tune with where that fighter was mentally and physically. Finding the right cue, the right reference point, the right words to break through. Never overloading. Only giving what that fighter had the capacity to receive in that moment. That was elite communication under pressure. In sport and in business we're conditioned to measure growth by outcomes. But some of the most significant progress doesn't show up on a scorecard or a dashboard. It showed up this week in how I responded to uncomfortable sparring against seasoned international competition. In recognising a tactical gap in real time and again when I watched it back. In trusting a corner that knew exactly what I needed in sixty seconds and delivered nothing more, nothing less. That's a leadership skill worth studying. Not overwhelming someone with everything you know. Giving them exactly what they can execute with right now. Growth isn't always visible in the result. Sometimes it lives in what you recognised, what you adjusted, and what you're now building toward. Results catch up. They always do. 🎙️ Inside Camp Week 9 is live on YouTube and Spotify now.
