Securing cloud infrastructure at scale was never easy. Securing cloud infrastructure at the age of AI, were attackers utilize AI at their service is even harder. Offensive teams are using AI to move faster and scale attacks. If defense is still stuck at “we saw it,” we’re already behind. The shift has to be to “it can’t happen again.” But prevention only works if it doesn’t slow the business down. The real work is building operational boundaries that block recurring risk without disrupting production or blocking innovation. This tension is the whole game. Back in AppsFlyer, we put this in priority together with Blast team pushing the limits of how we do prevention and securing cloud in scale. How we know we made a good work ? If you will ask the developers, it was seamless to them. Want to hear more - https://lnkd.in/dYS7Rmtm #CloudSecurity #PreemptiveCloudDefense
Jul 2026A few weeks ago, I closed one of the most significant chapters in my career. After more than five years as the CISO at AppsFlyer, leading the security program across the company, I made the decision to move on. Over these five years, we built something sognificant. Onboarded new technologies, new processes, and created real awareness around security that actually changed behavior. We made root changes, the kind that don’t show up in a dashboard overnight but shift the way an entire organization thinks about security. Moving people’s cheese, deliberately and persistently, until the new way became the only way. Security requires patience. A five-year horizon gives you something rare: a clear perspective on how far the needle has actually moved. And looking back, I can say with confidence it moved. Meaningfully. But we’re still 1% done. That’s not a failure, that’s the nature of this field, and honestly, part of what makes it worth doing. None of this happened in isolation. What we built here was a team that became a genuine pioneer across multiple security domains, not just protecting, but partnering. With IS, With R&D, with Product, with the business. Finding solutions that were right for us, balancing security with enabling the company to move fast. We encouraged innovation from within, and supported the organization’s innovation at the same time. Beyond the walls of AppsFlyer, we also took an active role in the broader cyber industry, engaging with vendors, shaping how solutions are built, and contributing to the conversation on where the field is heading. Being part of that ecosystem, and having a real impact on how products evolve, is something I’m particularly proud of. There are so many people I worked with who made this journey what it was, far too many to mention. But two I simply cannot leave out: Chily Fachler, one of a kind manager, true developer of people. Thank you so much for all the support and guidance throughout the years. Ofir Shuves, my wingman and partner from day one. Your professionalism, sharp thinking, and ability to lead with both strength and calm have been a constant throughout this journey. You understand this team, this domain, and what it takes to keep pushing forward. There is no one better positioned to take the team to the next challenge, and I have no doubt you will. And to my team, the true force behind all of this. The professionalism, the dedication, the genuine passion for the craft. Every single day, you raised the bar. None of this would have happened without you. And to everyone else who was part of this journey, who I hope, become friend for life, you know who you are. This was never a solo act. As for me, I am moving on to a new and exciting challenge that I will be sharing soon. Stay tuned. 🚀
May 202612 and a half years ago I joined AppsFlyer as a Senior Customer Success Manager. Employee #7. Since then I've held 7 roles at AppsFlyer. Yesterday my CEO asked me to take on an 8th: Chief AI Officer. Here's the thing about becoming a CAIO. There's no playbook. No job description to copy. No "best practices" doc from Gartner to follow. You build the Roles and Responsibilities from a blank page. So I started with myself. 8 months ago I was already an advanced AI user. I'd spent over a year using every basic and advanced feature ChatGPT had to offer. Then I moved to Claude and everything changed. Because of a better model and MCP, which connected Claude directly to all my tools and all the relevant data. Salesforce. Gong. Zendesk. Slack. Gmail. Calendar. Product analytics. Our entire data warehouse. All of it, connected to one AI brain. That's when I stopped using AI and started working with it. Today I run 10 AI agents that handle tasks I used to do myself. Reading emails. Scanning Slack. Scheduling. Preparing for meetings. Summarizing meetings. Surfacing risks. Building briefings. Helping me make decisions. Building strategy. Acting on it. 10 agents. Running at different hours of the day. Doing what used to take me at least 25% of my day. That's not adopting AI. That's becoming AI Native. And that's exactly what a Chief AI Officer does. You don't manage AI products. You don't pick which LLM to buy. You rewire how an entire company thinks, works, and makes decisions. Starting with yourself. It means sitting with every person in the company and asking: what would your day look like if an AI agent handled everything that doesn't require your judgment? Not once. Not as a project. Every person. Every day. The companies that treat AI as a feature will get left behind by companies that treat AI as their operating system. After 12 and a half years of building teams, I've never been more certain of anything: The next 2 years will separate AI Native companies from everyone else. The window is now. I am also continuing as Chief Customer Officer. That is not a footnote. It is the point. The richest signals in any company live closest to the customer. What they need. What they struggle with. What they wish you would build. AI without that understanding is just fast automation. AI with it is a transformation. I am not leaving Customer Success. I am amplifying it. To my Customer Success team at AppsFlyer. You know what we built together. Some of you have been here almost as long as I have. This moment belongs to all of us. To Oren . almost twenty years of friendship. 12 and a half years of partnership. Every time, you trusted me almost blindly. That trust built everything I have here. 1% done.
Apr 2026Yesterday was a deeply symbolic day for me. Not only did it mark my 5th anniversary at AppsFlyer, but I also had the privilege of presenting at the Wiz Conference in Tel Aviv. Sharing the stage with Yinon C. to discuss the AppsFlyer journey with Wiz over the past few years felt like the perfect way to celebrate. Looking back, our collaboration with Wiz has been more than just a vendor-client relationship, it’s been a partnership rooted in solving complex scale and security challenges. Presenting this journey at Wizdom was a proud moment, reflecting the evolution of Appsflyer's security over the past 5 years. The truth is, none of this happened in a vacuum. I am incredibly amazed by what we’ve been able to accomplish as a group over these years. I want to say a huge thank you to my amazing team members, colleagues, and our partners at Wiz.
