Greatful to have been able to talk about the sales tactics that have been working for our agency yesterday with Chris Jolly . #TheFreightCoach #TheTrustedFreightGuy Armstrong Transport Group
May 2026You deserve a company that shows up. Literally. When I was deciding where to move my book over a year ago, I interviewed several companies. Most talked about culture. One has proved it over and over. Logan Gillespie , Director of LTL Operations at Armstrong Transport Group , hopped on a plane to meet me and a new customer in New England. In person. No Zoom. No "let's circle back." Just a handshake and a conversation in person. This tells me more than any recruiter pitch ever could. If you're an agent struggling with: → Back-end office support that doesn't support. → Unauthorized short pays eating your margin. → Deductions you never approved. → A corporate team that treats you like a number. I've been there. I just went through the painstaking process of finding a new home for my book. Whether Armstrong is right for you or not, I'm happy to talk. DM me. I'll share what I learned, what questions to ask, and what red flags to watch for. This decision is too important to rush. And you shouldn't have to figure it out alone. #TheTrustedFreightGuy
Apr 2026Extreme Ownership Friday In today’s freight market, ownership isn’t a buzzword—it’s the difference between a vendor and a partner. At Armstrong Transport Group we coach our teams on a simple standard: ✅ Own the outcome ✅ Communicate early and clearly ✅ Fix the problem—not the blame When freight conditions change or execution misses the mark, customers don’t need explanations. They need accountability, transparency, and a our next step. That's the mindset behind from Echelon Front 's Rundown #173 — and it's how real trust is built in logistics. Unfortunately, customers don't remember perfect weeks. They remember who stepped up when capacity tightened, schedules slipped, or variables changed. At the our level, ownership means: ✅Proactive problem-solving ✅Clear expectations from quote to delivery ✅Long‑term thinking over short‑term wins 👉 If you’re a shipper looking for a logistics partner who takes ownership from the first call to final delivery, let’s connect. Comment below—what does true ownership look like from a shipper's side of the table?
Apr 20261 of 2 in the entire world. Our team finished a project moving a turbine generator from California to Southwest Virginia. Being a small part in helping the Town of Richlands, VA, have power for years to come makes all the long days worth it. Apr 2026After successfully moving 30 RGN extanable loads in just five days, the same customer returned to Casey for another project. This time running the same dims and weight from Md to Sc ( 40’ x 13’1 x 8’ 4 85,000 lbs). Casey and I teamed up again, secured the project, and delivered just as successfully. It really comes down to the strength of relationships, with both the carriers and customers. Please continue to reach out to Casey and me for all your heavy haul and open deck needs. Apr 2026I was telling a coworker, Steven N. something this week Posting on LinkedIn is actually hard for me. Not because I don’t have anything to say, but because I only want to share things that are real. Things I’ve actually experienced. Conversations I’ve actually had. Moments that actually made me stop and think. If it’s not authentic, it just doesn’t feel worth posting. And the more I thought about it… the more I realized, That’s exactly how I approach my job as Director of Agent Recruiting at Armstrong Transport Group. I don’t want my team sending messages that sound good on paper but don’t hold up in real life. I want real conversations. I want honesty about what works and what doesn’t. I want agents to feel like they’re talking to someone who actually understands what they do every day. Choosing a brokerage partner isn’t a small decision. And yeah, I do believe Armstrong is the best place for the right agent. But that only matters if we’re being authentic enough for someone to actually trust what we’re saying. So whether it’s posting on LinkedIn or talking to a prospective agent I’ll take real over polished every single time. #realtalk #atg #recruiting #logistics #broker #freightagent #transportation #ltl #peoplematter #truth #job #agents #freightbroker #armstrongtransportgroup
