May 2026“Spotted… Yet to be Captured” I used to think picking up a book for cinema means the story has arrived. Now I know… it has only been spotted. Between spotting and capturing lies the real life, not an easy task, just like in crime investigation everything appears so close but so far.... The Heel is now in that space… visible, exciting… and still running. Some books do create an Impact.... "The Heel" is one among them. Apr 2026Modern Darbar : The Variable That Matters I was onto my next fiction. I was writing.. (((The Sun had dimmed into a quiet amber, and I found myself writing about something I had never paused to notice before, the consistency of a platform, the discipline of movement, the predictability that hides in plain sight. The train stood on platform number four, just as it always did, quiet and precise in its placement. And for the first time, I noticed it, not as part of routine, but as something that had always been this way. There was a certain discipline to it all. The platform, the train, the compartments, everything aligned in a precision that did not change from day to day. The train arrived at the same spot, halted with the same certainty, the compartments stood in the same order, as though nothing within this system allowed variation. Even the people, especially in an intercity train, seemed familiar, faces that repeated themselves often enough to feel known, even if never spoken to. It was a world of consistency. A pattern that had settled into itself so completely that nothing within it felt uncertain. And yet… within that sameness, I had found a variable.))))) Extract from my next fiction A single possibility that did not belong to this order. And almost as if life chose to demonstrate what I was writing… a notification appeared. Richa Purohit . I paused: not because of the interruption, but because of who it was. She reads, reflects, and speaks with restraint. When I had written my first book, she had said, “for a first book, it is a good beginning.” It had stayed, not as praise, but as perspective. Which meant I had to improve a lot. Not that I have moved significantly higher but I feel I have moved ahead... and hence her opinion mattered. I opened the message. “Just finished the book… such a beautifully written book.” For a fleeting moment, everything stilled. The dim sun, the platform, the mechanical precision of it all blurred. I was no longer observing life; I was feeling it. Cloud nine is often an overused phrase, but in that instant, it felt real… earned, almost gifted. I read on. She said “So many emotions, vivid imagery across the book… I really felt as if I was watching a movie and not reading a book.”And there it was the connection. I felt arrived. Because somewhere, unknowingly, the words had crossed over… from being written to being experienced. Thank you, Richa. https://lnkd.in/d7rQMBsF
