During the quarter, we delivered positive net flows, strengthened client relationships across key markets, and maintained a strong focus on innovation, efficiency, and sustainability. We also continued to invest in the tools that support our people and improve how we work, while aiming to deliver long-term impact through investments supporting energy transition, carbon reduction and housing across UK communities. Our performance reflects disciplined execution and continued investment in long-term growth priorities. Yesterday I attended The Investment Association 's Private Markets Summit, along with others from Aviva Investors , where our CEO Mark Versey spoke on one of the panels discussing how partnerships are reshaping Private Markets. He described how Private Markets investments can often bring stories to life for investors, such as the real life impact our Glen Dye Moor afforestation project is having. Things I learnt from the day: ➡️ The growth of LTAFs was a frequent topic of discussion; Aviva has the 2nd highest number in the market. ➡️ 25 years ago there were almost twice the number of listed companies in the US than there are today, so Private Markets investment is even more necessary now to still access the whole economy. ➡️ The struggles our systems designed for Public Markets face with Private Markets deals aren't 'bugs' with Private Markets - they are often the beneficial features of those deals, so we need to continue to make our systems better. ➡️ My dream of tokenising private debt has a long way to go!
