15 years. That’s how long I’ve called the HR Tech industry home, with the vast majority of it being in Recognition and Rewards. It’s been a wild, rewarding ride, but it’s time for a new chapter. As my time at Awardco has come to an end, I can’t help but reflect on the last two years with this incredible organization. I’ve spent a lot of time telling the world why this company is the clear leader in Employee Recognition. The funny thing is, I’m no longer on the payroll to say that—and I’m saying it anyway. There truly is not another company like Awardco in the Recognition and Rewards industry or the broader HR Tech industry for that matter. Beau Hoge : Thank you for bringing me onto this team. You are an incredible leader poised for even bigger things, and I’m lucky to call you a friend. I have no doubt the Beauzos are going to continue to do incredible things. Steve Sonnenberg : Thank you for the "Recognize the Good" vision. It’s more than a slogan; it’s an inspiring way to build a business. You are an inspiring leader who truly cares about people rather than just talking about caring. #recognizethegood Leaving Awardco was the single hardest decision I've ever made in my career, but it was one that is right for my family at this time. So, what’s next? I’m jumping into an entirely different industry. It’s a fresh start, a new challenge, and I couldn't be more excited. More to come on that soon! 🚀

Apr 2026Welcome to week 15 of my random weekly “ask ChatGPT to link an obscure (but true) national day, to the topic of employee recognition post” 😂😉 April 17th is National crawfish day, so here we go… 🦞 Employee Recognition Is Like Crawfish 🦞 It’s better when it’s shared. It’s messy, fun, and brings people together. Recognition isn’t meant to be a solo meal — it’s a team experience. Pass it around. #EmployeeRecognition #Leadership #WorkplaceCulture Awardco
