For more than 15 years, Bankers Trust has engaged students in Polk and Story Counties on local "Youth Boards" made up of one senior from each area high school. Participants spend time with Bankers Trust team members through this experience learning about personal finances, banking and lending, security, marketing, human resources, fraud, and more. After participating, many of them end up interning at the bank during college, and some choose to start their careers with us. While we honored nearly 30 student participants during graduation ceremonies over the past two weeks, I don’t feel we ever do enough to honor our Branch Managers who put on this meaningful program on top of their regular jobs. Thank you Mary Simon, Mary Kay Hamell , Jill Molyneux and Steph Stanley for pouring yourselves into this important program. #DifferenceMakers
May 2026Congratulations to Lori Slings for receiving Bankers Trust's "Community Impact Award" and to Branislav Vujic for winning the "Community Development Award" today at our 11th annual Employee Volunteer Awards Luncheon.
