I am happy to share that I am now a Certified Professional for Software Architecture (CPSA) by International Software Architecture Qualification Board. This builds on my experience designing and working with complex systems, and on insights from attending the Software Architecture Gathering in Berlin—a great space to exchange ideas and gain new perspectives on software architecture. Looking forward to continuing to apply these principles in building scalable, resilient systems. #SoftwareArchitecture #SystemDesign #ISAQB #CPSA
Apr 2026AI is removing the bottom layer of software engineering. And that’s a bigger problem than it looks. In the past, junior engineers spent 1–3 years working on simple tasks: bug fixes, small features, refactoring. That’s how they learned. Today, AI can do many of these tasks in seconds. So what happens next? ➡️ Fewer learning opportunities ➡️ Faster delivery, but less real understanding ➡️ A broken path from junior → senior Becoming a strong senior engineer usually takes 5–10 years of: - debugging real production issues - making mistakes - understanding complex systems If we remove the early steps… 👉 Where will future seniors come from? We are optimizing for short-term speed But risking a long-term talent gap And this won’t show today. It will show in 5–10 years. The question is not: “Is AI making us faster?” The real question is: “Are we still building engineers… or just generating code?” Curious to hear your thoughts ⬇️ #ai #senior #engineering
