It was amazing, how authentic and excited the innovation spirit of project teams, startups and infrastructure companies were. ☺️ We as Flughafen Wien - Vienna Airport were super proud to represent our projects around robotics, autonomous systems, drones, and 3D printing next to Wiener Stadtwerke GmbH , ÖBB and ASFINAG. 🤖 𝗛𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝟵 𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝗰𝗮𝘀𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗱 𝗵𝗼𝘄 𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗯𝗹𝘆 𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗔𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗻 𝗶𝗻𝗳𝗿𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗲: 👇 1. Wien Energie GmbH uses Boston Dynamics robot dogs to carry out inspections and detect anomalies in industrial facilities using thermal imaging, sensors, and AI. 2. ASFINAG uses an automated system for placing and removing traffic cones so employees no longer have to step out onto the highway. 3. Vienna Airport, ÖBB & ASFINAG use drones to inspect PVs and detect defects or performance losses. 4. ÖBB & ASFINAG integrate VR in BIM models to simulate infrastructure projects before construction starts. 5. ASFINAG uses mobile tunnel inspection sensors mounted on moving vehicles to analyze tunnel conditions while driving. 6. ÖBB, Vienna Airport & ASFINAG use 3D printing to produce spare parts faster. 7. viadonau uses autonomous and remotely operated water drones to inspect waterways, locks, and riverside infrastructure along the Danube. 8. Vienna Airport uses autonomous document transporters by Cartken in the cargo halls for faster logistics processes. 9. Computer vision is being used to analyze and manage traffic and terminal flows in real time. 💡 And there are so many more. Thank you so much Thomas Greiner for the opportunity to spend the day as Ranger in your Innovation Safari team and guide a group of curious individuals through the technology use cases!☺️🚧 and it‘s always so lovely to meet friends who happen to also be Inno Managers Larissa 🎉 Great reminder to look beyond your own innovation bubble, or as Thomas put it, “beyond the roadside.” 🛣️🥳
