Sharing with my network; my son is looking for an entry level insurance role in London following his A Levels. He's predicted very strong AAA* grades through an awful lot of hard work and dedication which I know he will bring to the role Please share, like, and if you know of any suitable roles please do reach out to him - thank you for your support 🙏

May 2026We were taught to be programmers. We were hired to be coders. In my generation, the distinction was clear. In the classroom, we were taught that programming happened on paper. You sat with a pen, mapped out the logic, and wrote your algorithms in plain English. The coding—the actual translation of that logic into a machine—was a separate, formal event that happened in the lab. In the workplace, the story was different. The focus shifted to the implementation. The real work was in the execution, the syntax, and the "coding" required to make the design a reality. But recently, while working heavily with AI, I realized we are entering a new era where the two are merging again. I was experimenting with a structured Markdown file. I defined groups, mapped users to a "Directory," and created a "Commands" section. By providing natural language instructions to the AI, I built a fully functional lookup feature and an automated workflow trigger. I wasn't writing syntax. I wasn't "coding" in the traditional sense. I was doing exactly what I was taught in the classroom: I was programming. The AI handles the translation (the coding). The human provides the architecture (the programming). I believe this is the future of our industry. #AI #SoftwareEngineering #Programming #TechEvolution (AI Assisted Rewrite)
May 2026For any fellow lacrosse families in my network . My wife has been coaching youth for nearly 20 years and is finally putting her thoughts and drills out there. Give her a follow if you have any budding lacrosse players or if you coach your kids team! https://lnkd.in/eekaACe4
Apr 2026AI query: What’s to be expected of Mosaic at RIMS? “Expect Mosaic Insurance to show up less as a traditional insurer and more as a modern specialty risk platform. A focus on complex risk with a data narrative as a next-gen insurer” If you’re attending RIMS (Risk and Insurance Management Society, Inc.) , we’d welcome an opportunity to detail our platform and our approach to complex risks.

Apr 2026"Effective Communication Mastery" is a vital soft skill for everyone, especially those working in the service sector. On 7 April 2026, Muhammad Nizar Jasmani and I had the opportunity to conduct the second run of our "Effective Communication Mastery" workshop at Philips Singapore. This initiative, established with the help of Kelvin Chen , is a collaborative effort between our Biomedical Engineering Diploma in Temasek Polytechnic-School of Engineering and Philips Singapore. This partnership serves as a mutual exchange: Philips provides workshops on their medical devices for our students, while we provide communication training for their staff. Following the success of our first session in October 2025, we recalibrated the curriculum based on constructive feedback to ensure an even more successful second run. Sessions like these are crucial, as they allow us to foster close industry relationships with partners like Philips Singapore. These collaborations provide significant benefits to both Philips and our students at TP. During this visit, we also had the opportunity to meet John K. , a representative from Philips New Zealand and Australia, who shared valuable industry insights with us. I look forward to even deeper collaborations in the future! Thank you once again to Nizar for the hard work put into designing this workshop, and to Kelvin for providing this opportunity.
