BEUMER Group on Tour 2026 This is the 7th time, every two years, when a BEUMER Team of approx. 50 employees will do a cycling tour between two BEUMER locations. This year the tour goes from Beckum (Headquarter of BEUMER Group and BEUMER Maschinenfabrik) to Cottbus (Service Dependance or our Minerals & Mining Business). New Country, New Milestone: Master of AI (First Class Honors) from University of Auckland ! 🎓 I am incredibly proud to share that I have officially graduated with my Master of Artificial Intelligence with First Class Honors from the University of Auckland! 🏛️ While I bring over 8 years of international experience in systems engineering from Singapore, starting this new chapter in New Zealand has been a profound journey of growth. Achieving First Class Honors isn't just an academic milestone for me; it’s a commitment to excellence as I ground my global expertise in the vibrant tech ecosystem of Aotearoa. The "Senior Engineer + AI" Advantage: The real value in today’s industrial tech space lies at the intersection of robust system architecture and intelligent automation. I’m excited to merge my years of seniority with predictive intelligence and advanced automation models to solve mission-critical challenges, helping businesses move from reactive to proactive operations. ✈️📦 A milestone project for one of Europe’s most advanced airports. Frankfurt Airport has officially opened Terminal 3 — a state-of-the-art passenger terminal covering 176,000 m² and designed to welcome an additional 19 million passengers every year. Behind every smooth passenger journey stands one critical factor: reliable baggage handling. For this landmark project, BEUMER Group proudly delivered and installed a complete baggage handling system designed for efficient, fast and dependable operations throughout the entire terminal. The system includes: ✔ Tray and belt conveyor technology ✔ Check-in conveyor lines ✔ Baggage transport and distribution systems ✔ More than 14 kilometers of conveyor systems All working together to ensure baggage moves seamlessly through one of Europe’s newest aviation hubs. Projects of this scale are only possible through strong collaboration, precise coordination and a shared focus on reliability and performance. Some moments remind you why leadership is about more than strategy and numbers. Today was one of those moments: At 11:04 on Schalke, during a press conference, I had – together with Christoph Beumer and Matthias Tillmann – the privilege of announcing the future main partnership between BEUMER Group and FC Schalke 04 . It is for sure not an everyday agenda item, and it carried real emotion. From the 2026/27 season onwards, this partnership is designed to be long term, league independent and built on shared values such as reliability, ambition and responsibility. Both FC Schalke 04 and BEUMER Group are shaped by deep regional roots and an industrial heritage that still defines how we think and act today. As a family-owned company with around 90 years of history, we believe in long-term success. That belief is captured in what our "Made Different" claim truly means to us. This partnership is not about a logo alone. It is about commitment, trust and the willingness to go through good times and challenging times together. How much work goes into a three-minute video? More than you might think. Back in December I was in Bari filming one of our BEUMER Group Pouch Systems in operation at OVS S.p.A. , one of Italy's leading fashion retailers. Now that the final video is ready, it really shows how much goes into turning a working system into something clear and easy to understand on screen. But the actual filming is only one part of it. There’s the planning beforehand, studying the technical drawings to work out where you can safely take shots from and how to show the system in a way that makes sense. Then the days on site capturing the right sequences. Early starts and late finishes. And after that, the editing, structure, text, and getting everything aligned with the customer before it’s ready to publish. But one of the most important parts is collaboration. Being able to draw on the experience of Lars and Ole Japp , alongside the site knowledge of Martino Vittorio Moreno , made all the difference. Understanding how the system actually runs day to day is what allows you to present it in a way that reflects reality. Taking something complex and making it easy to follow, without losing what makes it valuable, is the real challenge. Seeing the pouch system running in a live environment gave me a real appreciation for the technology behind it. Translating that into a short video takes a bit more work behind the scenes. This is the final result 🙌
