What an incredible Day 1 at View 2026! I’ve hosted View four times now, and today felt different. There was one theme running through so much of the day: AI can do a lot. But when does it actually start changing how a business operates? Today, we got to show some of what that looks like. One of my favorite moments was seeing Myna, our AI operations coworker, handle an after-hours patient call, understand the context, navigate the rules, and actually book the appointment. Simple moment. Big shift. If you missed my keynote today, the full recording is already up. I’ll drop the link in the first comment. I also had the opportunity to sit down with Evan Hanlon from Google Cloud for a fascinating conversation on how AI is changing the way consumers discover and choose businesses. A huge thank you to all our customers, partners, speakers, and everyone who joined us today. If there was one thing Day 1 made clear, it was this: The next chapter of AI is about owning real jobs, not just completing isolated tasks. Jay, Myna and Robin made that tangible. Day 2 tomorrow. Let’s go. #BirdeyeView2026 #AI #MultiLocation Birdeye
Sep 202617 consecutive quarters at #1 on G2. That consistency is what stands out to me most. And this Fall, there’s another number I’m especially proud of: 12 #1 Enterprise rankings. Having spent over two decades working with or for large enterprises, I know how demanding that market is. The use cases are complex. The expectations are high. And the bar is unforgiving. So earning 12 #1 Enterprise rankings in G2’s Fall 2026 Reports, along with 30 #1 rankings overall, means a lot. And it makes next week’s Birdeye View 2026 even more exciting. We’ll share more about how we’re continuing to earn that trust, deliver real value across every location, and keep raising the bar for our customers. 17 quarters at #1 is something to celebrate. The real job is making sure we keep earning it. And we fully intend to.
Sep 2026Less than a week from now, I get the privilege of hosting Birdeye View for the fourth time. And the excitement around View 2026 is palpable. What started as an idea a few years ago has become the biggest annual gathering for multi-location brands, and this year is shaping up to be our biggest yet. We’ve already 2X’d upmarket registrations vs. last year, which was itself a hugely successful event. And the lineup this year is incredible: Google. G2. Yelp. Wyndham. The Aspen Group. Dave’s Hot Chicken. Globe Life. PennyMac. Extra Space Storage. Sun Auto. And many more. More than 50 leaders across two packed days. If you lead marketing, operations or customer experience for a multi-location brand, you will leave with sharper ideas, practical takeaways, and a much clearer view of where AI, search and customer experience are headed next. And most importantly, you’ll get a much better sense of what AI can actually do for your business now — the art of the possible, beyond the hype. That’s the bar we’ve set for View. September 9–10. Free. Virtual. Less than a week to go. Come join us! Sep 2026Last week we had the chance to host a group of leaders across marketing, CX, digital and operations from some of the UK & Europe’s biggest multi-location brands at Aspinal of London Limited . A fantastic evening with great conversations, new connections and plenty of discussion around how customer expectations, local discovery and digital experience continue to evolve across multi-location businesses. A huge thank you to the Aspinal team for the hospitality, and especially Sunny Singh for organising and bringing the event together. The best conversations always happen when you get the right people in the room. May 2026The last few weeks at work have been some of the most technically dense of my career. Here's what I actually built: Started with a snorkeling tour company — three locations, zero automation. Built a full FareHarbor → Zapier → Birdeye integration from scratch. New bookings, updates, cancellations. Custom SMS templates with tour dates, captain names, party size. Reminder flows. Review requests. Sounds simple. It wasn't. FareHarbor doesn't tell you what changed in an updated booking — just that something did. Built a mid-Zap script that calls the Birdeye API, compares stored tour dates against incoming data, and only fires if timing actually changed. Then discovered Zapier batches requests every 15–20 minutes — causing race conditions between new and updated booking flows. Switched to direct API calls. Problem solved. Other integrations I built or shipped in the same stretch: Microsoft Dynamics → Birdeye — OAuth-based integration, handling the full authorization flow end to end Vonigo → Birdeye — Security token-based authentication, built clean despite Vonigo's quirks Lasso CRM → Birdeye — Integration for a real estate company to sync contacts and automate review requests from their CRM Litify → Birdeye — Massive two-way integration with full write-back, built to help our CEO's CDP vision actually become real for a law firm using Litify as their system of record Round-robin location selector — Zapier Storage-based, sequential rotation across 10 business IDs. No Google Sheets. No randomness. Podium → Birdeye webchat migration — Located the script in a client's Webflow footer, swapped it out, customized the greeting to match the brand Also supported a large enterprise pilot for an assisted living group — interpreting Search AI, citation rankings, and SWOT reports across 10 locations. And worked through an SFTP historical data migration for a client moving thousands of survey responses into Birdeye. This has been a great stretch of work — and honestly, I'm just getting started. Looking forward to bigger challenges! #presales #solutionengineer #lifeincorporate
May 2026Over the last few months, my team has been rolling out a fleet of 7 AI agents, with the first wave already live and the rest set to join them by end of Q2. We named them after birds of prey. Here's why — and what we learned. 🦅 A few months ago, every week looked the same: hours lost to contract reviews, receivables slipping through the cracks, invoices queued for days, cash applied row by row, and month-end close stretching longer than it should. Instead of hiring more people, we rebuilt. Every workflow. Every bottleneck. From the ground up — with the right tools and full team buy-in. We call it the BirdEye Raptor Suite: 🦅 Falcon — chases every overdue dollar 🦉 Owl — never overpays a vendor 🪁 Kite — applies cash perfectly 🦅 Harrier — sees what no spreadsheet formula can 🦅 Eagle — eagle-eyed on every contract clause 🐦 Osprey — finds the best procurement deal 🦅 Kestrel — reconciles everything, every time Less than one year. Seven agents. Smaller team. Completely different output. The results: ⏱️ Hours of manual work eliminated per month 🤖 7 agents — each purpose-built, each named 👥 Smaller team, completely different output, ready to scale 📅 3 Quarters — from idea to all 7 going live We didn't wait for AI to reshape finance. We chose to shape it. The first raptor makes the second one inevitable. If you're a finance leader staring at a mountain of manual work and wondering where to start — here's my honest advice: pick your most painful, most repetitive task. Find the right tool for that one thing. Configure it properly. Name it. Give your team ownership of it. May 2026750 nominees. 60 winners. Today, Birdeye announced the 2026 Agentic Marketing Visionary Award today and I keep coming back to one thing. Every leader on this list had to convince someone internally before they could execute externally. They had to get buy-in, build the systems, and then hold the line when it got hard. That is the part no one sees. That is also the part that separates this list from everyone else. Congratulations to the 60 visionaries: https://lnkd.in/g8fkeDF7 #TheAgenticCMO #Awards
May 2026Still buzzing from Viewpoint NYC at Nasdaq. Senior marketers from leading multi-location brands came together to talk about what’s changing now: - AI search is reshaping discovery. - SEM and SEO are getting harder. - Only agents can help teams scale across hundreds or thousands of local funnels. That was the focus of the keynote. 1-minute highlight reel below. Full keynote in the first comment. Joe Marchese Jennifer Campisi Saad Rizwan Adam Dorfman Alesia R. Birdeye
