I have just completed 3 months here at F5 and its an incredible journey I am on with Christopher Burger. We are building a security organization that is engineering-forward and building for a world where our adversaries are using cutting-edge models to overcome and overwhelm traditional defences. And we are building it in a human-first approach to use AI to give defenders the edge. Come and create with us the next evolution of security for everything from incident response and enterprise security to security AI & red team. We are hiring in the US, Mexico, Poland and India. Aug 2026Most AI security reviews approve "the model" (I am guilty of that). With Open Source AI, That's the wrong unit of trust. A model repository isn't one artifact. It's weights, executables, documentation, JSON config, tokenizer files, custom Python enabled at load time, and templates that shape tool behavior. Which means three failure modes your current stack probably doesn't connect: → A signed artifact can contain an intentionally backdoored model. → A behaviorally safe model can be loaded by vulnerable code. → A safely loaded model can be handed excessive tool authority. I wrote up my learnings, the five properties that make open-source AI risk structurally different, and the seven questions to ask before you approve a revision. Also, I call out HuggingFace's capabilities because they are the most popular but that can easily extend to any other platform. Full piece → https://lnkd.in/gEUmHd2P
Jul 2026This is huge - special shoutout to all my friends at Databricks. Having the Box MCP server available in the Databricks unlocks the true power of Box Extract and makes so many unstructured data use cases possible that previously were not. https://lnkd.in/gy5vi2HT

Jul 2026Gemini 3.5 Flash is out, and it's a major jump over Gemini 3 Flash in model capability for knowledge work. We've been evaluating it on our Box AI Complex Work Eval in early release, and the model delivers a 12 percentage point jump on complex document tasks. For testing this model, we give the Box AI Agent complex problems to solve that represent common but difficult knowledge worker tasks in banking, consulting, public sector, healthcare, and other industries. These tasks can be things like drafting reports, doing due diligence, and more, given a set of relevant documents. In our tests, Gemini 3.5 Flash delivered jumps across every industry, including: * Financial services: 81% vs 73% (+8pp) — Generate financial reports from structured data with accurate number transcription — reading source data methodically before drafting, rather than generating before retrieval is complete * Public sector: 76% vs 59%, (+17pp) — Apply complex, math-focused policies to raw datasets, correctly extracting and computing numerical values for large-scale compliance and assessment reporting * Healthcare: 73% vs 51%, (+22pp) — Generate accurate quantitative analyses of utilization data, correctly computing multi-step derivations from dense clinical records and cross-referencing multiple data sources with tight variance * Life Sciences: 67% vs 47%, (+20pp) — Extract and compute scientific ratios from diagnostic testing records by systematically reading and parsing source documents, rather than reasoning from incomplete context Gemini 3.5 Flash will be available soon in Box AI Studio and through the Box API. The Box MCP Server will soon be available in the Gemini app with more details to come. Learn more here: https://lnkd.in/g7pthEYZ

May 2026Thrilled to share that I’ve joined Elementum AI as Head of Events! From my first conversations with the team, it was clear this is a company building something truly transformational in enterprise AI. Elementum AI is redefining how enterprises operationalize AI through AI-native workflow orchestration, enabling organizations to seamlessly connect AI agents, automation, and human collaboration directly where enterprise data already lives with no complex integrations or data movement required. The momentum, vision, leadership, and innovation here are truly incredible, and it’s very exciting to see Elementum AI recently recognized by Comparably for Best CEO, Best Company Culture, Best Company Outlook, and Happiest Employees.
