While I was job searching recently, I realized something a bit frustrating. A lot of CVs never reach a recruiter. They’re filtered by AI first. I knew this as a recruiter. But experiencing it as a candidate feels very different. You apply and sometimes it just feels like your CV disappears. So I looked deeper into how these systems actually work. They don’t really "read” your CV. They match patterns: keywords, structure, specific skills. If your CV doesn’t match, you’re out before a human even sees it. What actually helps: 💎 Tailor your CV to each role. Yes, it takes time. But otherwise you просто не попадаете в выборку Study the requirements, tech stack, wording - and reflect that in your CV (if it’s true😜). 💎 Match the language: "Stakeholder management" ≠ "worked with teams" for the system. 💎 Be specific: Not "analytics" → SQL / Tableau / A/B testing. 💎 Keep it simple: Columns and heavy design often break parsing 💎 Show numbers: "Improved process" → weak "Reduced time-to-hire from 45 to 30 days" → strong 💎 Use relevant synonyms: Recruitment + Talent Acquisition AI doesn’t always connect them. 🚀 Main takeaway: It’s not about beating the system. It’s about making your experience clear enough for it. Because if AI doesn’t understand your CV - recruiter never will.

Apr 2026Imagine this. You are in an interview. The conversation is going well. Interesting questions, good flow, it feels like there is a match. You are discussing experience, approaches, even start joking a bit. And then, right in the middle of the call, HR joins and says: “Sorry everyone, we just got an update. One of the candidates accepted the offer. We are closing the position. Thank you.” And..... leaves the call. You and the interviewer pause for a second. He is just as confused as you are. Awkward silence. Someone says, “well… have a good day then?” Sounds absurd. But if you think about it, it is not that far from reality. Sometimes it is not about whether a decision is better or worse. It is about who happened to be at the right point in the process at the right time. And it is a good reminder that in complex systems, outcomes are not driven by quality alone, but also by whether things happen at the right moment. #leadership #management #decisionmaking #systems #careergrowth
Apr 2026It was a pleasure collaborating with Jonathan on this project, a partnership that evolved into a friendship. He explains how Attimis #OneBucket ™ ends the struggle of "chasing the dragon" in siloed storage by unifying dozens of locations into one vendor-agnostic bucket with zero added latency. As Jonathan says, "There is no drawback to trying it". #Attimis #OneBucket #ObjectStorage #ChasingTheDragon
Apr 2026I joined Tango as a Senior Backend Engineer in 2020. I left as an Engineering Director leading 4 teams. Not because I had a career path. Because of the kind of environment it is. ——— The Valentine's Day feature. On January 15, we got a request: deliver a new gifting experience for streamers, fully rolled out to 100% of users, by February 14. That's 3–4 weeks for a pretty big feature. We cut scope aggressively, split work across teams, spent more time on design than on coding — and aligned the team on extra effort. Voluntary. Everyone was in. We shipped it on time. What I remember most isn't the deadline. It's the reaction from streamers and artists when it went live. ——— That's not the everyday mode anymore. Today we're much more focused on quality, metrics, stability, and predictable delivery. But the spirit underneath hasn't changed — ownership, speed when it matters, people who actually care about what they're building. That's one of the reasons I came back. And it's exactly the kind of team I'm now building. ——— I'm hiring for two product teams in Limassol 🇨🇾 focused on activation & retention: → Senior Backend Engineers → Senior Frontend Engineers → Senior Android Engineers → QA (automation mindset) Tango is not for everyone. If you take ownership, challenge decisions, and want to build things that reach millions of users — we should talk. 📩 DM me
