Had an enlightening 3 days in Louisville for our first 2026 Plant Managers Conference. Took the opportunity to gemba our plants in Louisville both separately to learn about the operations as well as opportunities for new manufacturing technology as well as part of Kaizen Team 8 to collaborate and ideate on what we could do for a specific problem the team presented. Learned a lot and highly appreciate the scale at which our Kentucky Truck Plant operates. It's mindblowing to see the throughput of the plant and I have a whole new appreciation for the process and the people! Thanks Joe Closurdo and the manufacturing leadership teams for the opportunity! And specifically to members of Team 8! It was fantastic.
