Apr 2026Pumped that this is now in the wild! My last major project at Brooklyn Sports & Entertainment : A new CardMember entry and Lounge at Barclays Center ... So much of my career has included American Express , setting a very high bar as a partner and activator, and a personal nucleus of supporters over the years. These new additions are another feather in the cap--perfectly on brand and on strategy. It was always AmEx, and I'm thankful for Shiz Suzuki and team believing in the vision, and Populous for dreaming up a beautiful execution. Can't wait to experience it myself! 👏 👏 👏 Sebastien Gray Alaina (Laini) DiMonte Matthew Patton Kensha Dornéval Grandoit Lucas Biebelberg Nathan Syken Josh Pruss
Apr 2026Early Bird is one of our most competitive sales campaigns at Brooklyn Sports & Entertainment. From January through April, our team is selling into the 2026–2027 season while the current season is still underway. It takes consistency, strong pipeline management, and the ability to create urgency to succeed during this window. Big congratulations to Mackenzie White , Samuel Stone , and Eric Nikolaisen who all hit their early bird goals after starting with the Inside Sales team in January. They will join our overall Sales & Service trip to Palermo, Italy on April 30 as a reward for their exceptional performance. Mackenzie, Sam, and Eric set the standard for what it looks like to execute at a high level over a sustained period. Our team is so proud of their hard work, coachability, and consistency during the campaign. If you’re looking to grow your career in sports sales and want to be part of a high-performance culture, we’re hiring. Apr 2026One of the proudest moments I've had at Brooklyn Sports & Entertainment ! Wednesday's AI Lab Demo Day was something special. What stood out most was watching people who are closest to the problems build the solutions. Every team brought something different, and the results were impressive. Congratulations to everyone who participated! We have incredible talent across this organization. Some participants were working with new technology for the first time. In eight weeks, they went from ideas to working prototypes. That takes a growth mindset, courage and commitment. Thank you to our judges — Jeremy Shuster, Vincent Ircandia , Tess Garner , and Michael Lally — for generously sharing your time and expertise with our teams. Your outside perspective and feedback meant a lot. A few people I want to recognize: David Simbandumwe for his leadership in designing and running this program from the ground up. Bridget Schelzi for delivering a Demo Day that matched the quality of the work on display. Darolyn Pierce for taking on coaching a cohort of teams. And members of our HR and Communications teams - Rena Gottlieb , Karen V. , and Emily Aponte - who collaborated with us at every step while we developed this program.
