Had a great discussion during CAIS Live South at the Ritz-Carlton, Amelia Island on the evolving private equity landscape with: • Daniel Wilk, CAIA , Future Standard • Meena Arora Gandhi , J.P. Morgan Asset Management • Peter Grape , Lexington Partners – A Franklin Templeton Company We explored the key trends shaping fund strategies, market dynamics, and investor engagement — and what they mean for financial advisors and client portfolios in private markets. Appreciative of the thoughtful insights from the panel and the strong audience engagement throughout the session.
May 2026We tried something new last week with our first-ever half-day CAIS Live event. We wanted something tight, high-signal, and worth every hour. The energy in the room said it all - 100+ asset managers and wealth professionals came out for an afternoon of conversations: - How to cut through the macro noise and navigate portfolio decisions - Breaking down alts structures so advisors can match them to client needs - Real assets and their role in the decade ahead - How advisors, managers, and CAIS work together is changing what's possible for clients Big thank you to our speakers and everyone who came out. 7 events over the next 8 weeks to bring the community together. As AI ramps up and there becomes more digital noise in the system, these moments are going to be more important than ever. Onward. Let's go (!) Joanna Munjack Brad Walker Valerie P. Apr 2026I’m thrilled to share that I’ve joined Gridline as Chief Operating Officer. I’ve spent my career in environments where I’ve been building in real time, solving problems as they come up, wearing multiple hats, and helping bring alternative investment strategies and custom funds to market. I’ve always seen myself as a builder, with a focus on scaling systems and institutionalizing what works. That’s what drew me to Gridline. The infrastructure they’ve built stands out, especially in how they work alongside clients to package private market opportunities into flexible, customizable funds. It’s a practical approach to helping advisors actually deliver private markets exposure at scale. Just as important is the team’s speed and mindset. There’s a clear understanding of where the industry is today and where it needs to go. I’m excited to help shape that next phase as we continue building out the systems and workflows behind scalable private market programs. I’m down in Cayman this week at GAIM Ops , speaking with Dayna Kleinman from Sagard and spending time with operators across the industry. If you’re here, feel free to reach out. I’d welcome the conversation. Here’s the link to the official Wealth Management coverage: https://lnkd.in/ergQZYQn
