Apr 2026Last week at Seatrade, I had a chance to pause and take in just how many people have been part of my 45-year journey with Carnival. All week long, I could hardly walk the floor without running into someone for a quick hello, a familiar smile or an affectionate embrace. Some of those faces brought me right back to earlier chapters of my career. Others reminded me of how many people I have had the privilege to work alongside over the years and how much of my life and career have been shaped by those relationships and the work we have done together. What meant the most to me was seeing that full picture in one place. People I have known for years, colleagues who have become dear friends and so many who have helped shape Carnival into the company it is today. It was a reminder of how much we have built together over time and of the lasting friendships formed along the way. There was a lot to take in last week. New ideas, thoughtful conversations and leaders talking about where we are headed. But for me, the most meaningful part was something simpler: the people. They have always been the best part of this journey and one of the greatest sources of pride in being part of Carnival.
