This week we launched the CarParts.com Mastercard. I’m not going to pretend this was easy or fast. Projects like this take years. They take teams that don’t give up when the timeline slips or the complexity compounds. They take people who stay aligned when the easier path is to walk away from the idea entirely. Our team did that. Getting a branded credit card program to market is a different kind of lift than shipping a product or launching a campaign. Financial partnerships, compliance, technology integrations, customer experience design. A lot of pieces have to line up. A lot of people have to keep pushing long after the initial excitement wears off. We kept pushing. The card is simple: 3% cashback on CarParts.com purchases, and 1% cashback everywhere else Mastercard is accepted. That second part matters. Our customers spend money on their vehicles beyond just parts. Fuel, tires, service, tools. Now they’re earning on all of it, not just when they shop with us. But this isn’t just a credit card launch. It’s part of something we’ve been building deliberately. CarParts+ membership. CarParts Euro. The JC Whitney Performance Hub. Thousands of new SKUs. Each one an expansion of what we can offer drivers. The Mastercard is the next piece of that, giving customers a financial tool that’s built around how they actually live with their vehicles. We’re not trying to be just an auto parts store. We’re building the most complete experience for drivers. This is what that looks like in practice. Proud of everyone who had a hand in getting this across the line.
