May 2026Hard to believe it’s already been eight years as a Registered Nurse 👩🏻⚕️🏥❤️ Five years at the bedside and three years in leadership. Apr 2026Ontario is moving toward regional approaches to care, and we already have one that works for kids. Through Kids Come First - Enfants avant tout , hospitals across eastern Ontario are working together to reduce pediatric surgical wait times as part of a regional surgical program. Today we announced that Winchester District Memorial Hospital has now become the fifth community hospital where CHEO surgeons can complete pediatric day surgeries. We are using regional capacity to get kids the care they need sooner, and this is what regional collaboration in action looks like: practical, patient‑centred, and built around kids and families. Thank you to Winchester hospital and all our partners for their help to make this happen.
