May 2026Another great day in London but this time at SITS - Service Desk & IT Support Show with CloudPay’s CSRO Tim Grieveson , great to see what’s new in the market and coming very soon …. Seems the buzz word is AI!
May 2026I saw this over the weekend, and it sums up my mindset right now. I am swinging and missing on occasions, but I continue to learn. To my network, please like and share to get the message out. Here are my headlines, and the value that I can bring to a company: for 15+ years, I have built and scaled global BDR and SDR teams in SaaS, including at ServiceNow, ADP, CloudPay and Smart Communications. What I do best: • Rebuild underperforming BDR teams and get them firing • Launch and scale global hubs across EMEA, North America and ANZ • Drive triple-digit pipeline growth and conversion growth • Shift teams from activity-driven to value-led selling Now, I am looking for a Business Development or Sales Development leadership role. So, if you: • Lead a go-to-market, revenue or sales organisation and are building or fixing your BDR or SDR engine • Work with a SaaS company that needs pipeline growth and global coverage • Or know a leader who is quietly thinking, “We need to get our BDR function sorted this year” I would genuinely value an introduction or a quick conversation. Feel free to message me directly, or tag someone who might benefit from a chat.
Apr 2026After a long weekend break from the screens, I wanted to see if unplugging and plugging back in works for job searches too. I’m currently exploring new opportunities where I can help design, build, or really elevate a BDR/SDR function within a high-growth SaaS business. Over the last 15+ years, I’ve often been brought in when a team needs a reset, whether that’s rebuilding an underperforming function or turning it into a consistent pipeline engine. Most recently at CloudPay, I reworked the EMEA BDR org, reduced ramp time by 30%, and delivered 205% YoY against Sales Accepted Opportunities, while also setting up a new hub in Costa Rica to support the US. Before that, at Smart Communications, I built a global BDR organisation from the ground up across NA, EMEA, and ANZ, delivering 137% YoY pipeline growth in 2022 and 109% in 2023, and contributing significantly to multi-million-dollar ARR. What I bring to a company looking to build or strengthen a BDR function is a strong track record of scaling teams across regions and helping them go from underperforming to genuinely high-performing. I’ve always believed BDR works best when it’s closely aligned with Marketing, with messaging, personalisation, and campaign ROI all working together, rather than operating like a disconnected call centre. I also place a big focus on people development: hiring well, coaching managers and reps, building structured enablement, and creating repeatable playbooks that help reduce ramp time and improve SQL and opportunity conversion rates. At ADP, while leading 5 managers and 30 SDRs, I helped shift the team from volume-led activity to more value-based, insight-led outreach, which delivered 130% YoY pipeline growth and improved win rates. I’m very comfortable with modern sales tech too, including Salesforce, Outreach, 6Sense, ZoomInfo, Cognism, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator, which helps keep process, reporting, and prioritisation tight from day one. If you’re looking to build or significantly improve your BDR/SDR engine and want someone who can work closely with Sales and Marketing, develop people, and turn strategy into real pipeline, I’d be glad to connect.
