Today we celebrated our Market’s Best of the Best at our annual Market All Stars aboard The Odyssey on the Potomac River. An amazing evening with incredible people, beautiful views of the DC skyline, and well-deserved recognition for those who continue to raise the bar every day. Congratulations to our 2026 Market All Stars Honorees. Your dedication, leadership, and commitment to excellence continue to inspire our entire Market. The future of Greater Washington is bright because of people like YOU. Today we celebrated excellence — tomorrow we continue building it. Proud to lead this amazing team. Way to go, GWA.
May 2026Who's joining us at APM in less than a week? If you've ever been curious about what a career with us would look like, I'm happy to chat with you while in Houston and share.
May 2026The count down begins...looking forward to re-connecting with all my CD friends, and outstanding Preferred Partners! #CDAPM26
May 2026Shout out to all the mom’s out there who are making the “Magic” happen every day. For all of our Planners, CSM’s, Reservation Managers, GSC’s, Production A/V, Housekeeping, front of house, back of house, and the thousands of mom’s who are working today to make sure everything goes smoothly for your event, adding the “EXTRA” effort - often at the expense of their time with their families. And a special thank you to everyone working a Mother’s Day Brunch today - thank you for making today special for someone’s mom.
May 2026So much of this article resonates with me (and likely every Planner tbh. Even in hotel sourcing, the best contracts are the same way: the attrition clause that never got triggered, the force majeure language that protected everyone when it mattered. Nobody sees it until they need it. And “Invisible architecture”, what a perfect name for it. One of the best compliments us Planners can get is a client who has no idea how close things came to going sideways but we made everything look effortless ;)
Apr 2026Sometimes I have to pinch myself—just to be sure this isn’t a dream. I feel incredibly lucky to be part of an industry where moments like these are possible. My heartfelt thanks to the Disney team for turning our meeting into something truly special and unforgettable. They don’t just create experiences—they create magic. I’m so excited for the chance to share a little of that magic with my clients, too.
Apr 2026The full conference pass isn’t always the right product anymore. I’m currently planning an event that includes day passes and the response has shown exactly what Julius is pointing to here. Some attendees simply can’t commit to three days or more, but they absolutely will show up for one that has the content they’re after. Flexible registration isn’t a consolation option. It’s a smarter way to serve your audience and grow your event.
