May 2026The 2nd day of PyTexas 2026 was amazing! Although I came for the second part of the day, I enjoyed the great topics: "Data Engineer's Survival Guide" and "Failed Experiments in Vibe Coding" (by Al Sweigart), and participated in a workshop from Microsoft, "Building a Full-Stack FastAPI App with Open Source DocumentDB," as well as in Open Spaces on the AI memory topic. I met my conference buddies (yes, I am going to tag you here: Richard Gower , Victor Velasquez ), PyTexas ladies' organizer Jordana N. (it was so great to meet you in real life!), met new people and familiar faces, and got my very first Python book, "Automate the Boring Stuff with Python," signed by the author, Al (be jealous now). This PyTexas 2026 is special, it's been 20 years since the conference started, and it's been my 3rd year attending it. Thank you for all organizers ( Mason Egger ) and PyTexas Foundation . Looking forward for the 3rd day!
