Macro Risk Management (PMO): Monitoring the impact of deliveries on the overall timeline and ensuring external dependencies don't delay the business. 2. Architectural Mapping (Systems Analyst): Acting as the architectural shield. Through deep mapping (BRDs, FRDs), the Analyst ensures the team can iron out the complexity of integrations before writing the first line of code. 3. Agility without Bulldozing (PMO + Analyst): Ensuring the speed demanded by the business doesn't bring down the main operation. True agility builds the right solution the first time. In Practice 🛡️: Bear in mind that it was exactly at the core of this pain, within the financial and banking sector, that I consolidated the impact of technical mapping. Working directly with the Definition of Ready and translating highly complex legacy integrations (like COBOL and IBM MQ), we managed to remodel the operational flow. The business impact was surgical: we reduced the processing time from a heavy 4 hours to an incredible 1 hour and 3 minutes.
