May 2026I met Edutech 's leadership team last week in Bangalore to review our joint business expansion plan for the rest of the fiscal year. Edutech has been instrumental in the D2L India story since its inception. Their deep understanding of the Indian higher education landscape helped us land our first customer, and their expertise continues to drive our expansion today. To the entire team at Edutech - thank you for your trust, your grit, and your partnership (and of course your generous hospitality as always). Here’s to continuing our mission of transforming the learning experience across India, together! D2L Sajeev Karuthody Manju Parakat Santosh Jaisinghani Sunil Vijayakumar
May 2026Today’s learning experience reinforced an important shift in L&D. Training should not be measured by completion rates alone, but by performance outcomes. At Performance-First Learning: A Day as an Instructional Designer with Handshaw’s Model by Institute for Adult Learning Singapore , we explored how instructional design can move beyond content creation to solving actual workplace challenges. Gen AI may accelerate ideation and prototyping, but strong learning design still begins with understanding the business problem first. Technology can amplify good design, but it cannot replace strategic thinking. As organisations continue investing in workforce transformation, the real differentiator will be learning experiences that drive behaviour change and business outcomes, not just knowledge transfer. Thank you Dr Lee Kang Yam for the insights and the awesome sharing from the course mates! #LearningAndDevelopment #InstructionalDesign #GenerativeAI #WorkplaceLearning
May 2026As we navigate the complexities of a rapidly evolving workplace, it's clear that the conventional metrics we once relied on are no longer sufficient. A recent report highlights that our perception of productivity in remote work settings may just be a measurement problem—not a performance issue. Organizations must shift their focus to fostering human judgment alongside AI, ensuring that employees not only produce faster but also think critically and innovate. Embracing this paradigm is crucial for nurturing a workforce equipped to thrive in the future of work. https://ow.ly/B9kc50YWwTb
