The AI market talks a lot about GPU scarcity. That problem is real. But in production, the bigger issue is often useful GPU capacity. A GPU that sits idle because data cannot reach it fast enough is not useful capacity. A GPU blocked by poor scheduling is not useful capacity. A GPU stuck behind slow storage, weak networking, or a bad deployment model is not useful capacity. The goal is not just to acquire GPUs. The goal is to turn GPUs into reliable throughput for training, inference, and AI applications. That takes design discipline across the full platform. QumulusAI
May 2026Cold outreach into enterprise accounts is incredibly difficult. Why? And what’s actually working? A big part of my role is helping my team generate new enterprise business, and honestly, it’s never been harder. Naturally, I spend a lot of time studying this topic: -reviewing the data -talking with enterprise buyers -comparing notes with other sales leaders -and reflecting on my own reactions as a buyer Enterprise CXOs are getting hammered with: -cold emails -LinkedIn pitches -webinar invites -conference follow-ups -dinners -“quick intro calls” Everyone claims differentiation. Most sound exactly the same. A few interesting data points: -B2B cold email response rates are reportedly around 3-5%. -Yet 57% of C-level and VP buyers still say they prefer phone conversations for complex buying decisions. Many enterprise buyers still take meetings from thoughtful cold calls when the outreach is relevant and well researched Personally, I usually hate cold calls. I get a ton of them and cringe when the rep sounds scripted and refuses to let me off the phone. At that point, I’m not thinking positively about the company. I’m just trying to escape the conversation. Which makes me believe the issue isn’t the channel itself. It’s the quality, relevance and authenticity of the outreach. My POV: The companies and reps breaking through right now seem to be the ones: -leveraging warm introductions and trusted relationships -deeply researching the customer before outreach -leading with a specific business problem instead of product features -simplifying the message -sounding human instead of scripted I think a lot of GTM teams are still running a playbook built for a market that no longer exists. Curious what others are seeing. What’s working for you right now? And what feels completely dead? Buyers- what are your thoughts? #EnterpriseSales #SalesLeadership #GoToMarket #B2BSales #StartupGrowth
May 2026Proud to see DDN and Aleria take another important step forward together with the signing of our MoU to deliver the fastest Fusion data intelligence foundation for sovereign cloud, in the region and globally. Eric, Paul, and I have long shared the same conviction: sovereign AI is about more than infrastructure. It is about trust, control, and the freedom for nations and enterprises to innovate on their own terms. With Aleria, we are advancing a blueprint for sovereign AI at national and enterprise scale. Secure. Fast. Production-ready. A special thank you to Eric for his vision and partnership, and to Paul, the DDN team, and Aleria team for helping bring this important work to life. The future of AI will be built on trusted data foundations. We are ready.

May 2026Great conversation with Kevin Delane, President & CRO at DDN, live from the NYSE , discussing the future of AI infrastructure, AI economics, and what it takes to scale enterprise and sovereign AI in the real world. As organizations move from AI experimentation to production, the conversation is shifting from GPUs alone to the importance of the data layer: performance, efficiency, utilization, and business outcomes. Check out the interview to hear Kevin’s perspective on where the market is heading and how DDN is helping power the next generation of AI factories and data intelligence platforms. #AI #DataIntelligence #NYSE #EnterpriseAI #SovereignAI #DDN #AIInfrastructure
