A lot of the conversation around Publicis buying LiveRamp will focus on B2C marketing, retail media, identity and clean rooms. But I think there’s an interesting implication for B2B media and events too. The value of these businesses is not just audience size. It’s the quality of the relationship with the audience, the trust in the brand, and the proprietary signals you can gather from content, newsletters, events, meetings and community. Our portfolio company, Inman , leader the B2B residential real estate market is a good example. At its best, a vertical media brand like Inman is not just selling ads or sponsorships into the residential real estate market. It has a front-row seat into what brokers, agents, proptech companies and industry leaders are paying attention to, where budget is moving, who is gaining mindshare, and what problems the market is trying to solve. For B2B media and event companies, especially those with strong vertical focus, the opportunity is to move beyond “we can get you in front of the right people” toward “we can help you understand and engage the market in a more measurable way.” That doesn’t mean every media company needs to become an ad-tech company. But it does mean first-party data, event engagement, buyer intent, and proof of outcomes are going to matter more. And the real value is increasingly in the signal underneath all of it. https://lnkd.in/eaZWMScE Beringer Capital Thomas M. Bohn
May 2026It is with great excitement that I welcome Yuriy Boykiv to Beringer Capital as an Operating Partner and Executive Chairman of PerformCB. Yuriy possesses a rare combination of skills: accomplished operator, entrepreneur, and natural investor. In today’s market, the best investors are not simply financial engineers; they are people who can recognize exceptional businesses, thoughtfully assess risk and opportunity, and then work shoulder-to-shoulder with management teams to help create lasting value. That has been the hallmark of Beringer's approach over 20+ years and successive fund deployments. Equally important, Yuriy’s character and leadership style align naturally with Beringer’s culture: humble, hardworking, collaborative, and deeply respectful of people. Even in a short period of time, his impact on our team has already been felt. We look forward to working with Yuriy integrally across the Beringer portfolio and within our current and future investment activities as our firm expands. We wish him the best of success in supporting the outstanding PerformCB management team, as they continue building one of the most innovative and differentiated businesses in outcome-based marketing. Personally, I’m very much looking forward to partnering with Yuriy in the years ahead — tackling challenges together, learning from one another, and celebrating the wins along the way.
May 2026“Ek resignation, ek breakup se kam nahi hota.” 🤭😌 You invest your time, energy, emotions… You build relationships, learn, grow… And then one day you decide to move on. Then suddenly… You start remembering everything first day nervousness, chai breaks ☕, targets, pressure, learning, and those people who made work feel lighter. Just like a breakup You know it’s the right decision.. There’s overthinking ✅ There’s doubt ✅ There’s “should I stay or should I go?” moments ✅ But just like a breakup, a resignation also means choosing yourself, your growth, and your next chapter. New beginnings are scary… but also exciting! 🚀 #firstjob #resignation #emotion #corporate #gratitude
