We run EBANX as a product-led company. We discuss other topics, trying to look like normal people, but what we really love is PAYMENTS. Payments at scale, efficiency, cards, APMs, international rails, fraud, reconciliations, we drink them all. This is why it was such a joy to join Drew Edmond on Payments on Fire last week. We had a full episode to discuss the intricacies of payments around the world, especially in emerging economies, where payment habits define the market, not the other way around. A few takeaways. Listen to the episode for more color: • Agentic commerce is a power game, not a technology question. • “Set it and forget it” subscriptions are a card-world invention. Other regions are thinking differently. • Merchants can’t have a regional strategy. They need multiple country strategies. • 1/3 of Brazilian adults don’t use credit cards, but are widely active in the digital economy. • One giant merchant accepting stablecoins globally will do more for adoption than a decade of infrastructure building. • Regulatory density is not compliance overhead. It is part of the product. The merchant is buying your local knowledge, not just your rails. • Abstraction is the real product. Any merchant can find payment rails, but what they are really looking for is a layer that makes tens of countries feel like one integration. Thanks a lot, Drew and the team at Glenbrook Partners . This was a great opportunity to show a bit of what we are doing at EBANX and, especially, to discuss how payments differ so much across different parts of the world. May 2026Coming back from Brazil Week in Nueva Yooool, where hundreds of Brazilian leaders convene every year to discuss business, politics, and society in general. This week is quite special because we end up in meetings we don't usually expect. Reserved conversations, with private points of view from some of the most important business leaders in the country. Nothing edgy or secret. Just sober insights from people whose impact in Brazil is significant and who genuinely care about the country. BTG's and Itaú's events are especially well curated. On behalf of EBANX, I'm thankful to our partners Citi , Egon Zehnder , and Endeavor , who invited me to speak at their events, showing what we’re building and sharing thoughts about the importance of talent and leadership in this era of AI and geopolitical reconfiguration. It was a pleasure, Andre Abram , André Cury , Bruno Pierobon , Maria Teresa Fornea , and Paulo Passoni .
May 2026EBANX is looking for a TPS Senior to be the first technical voice global merchants hear when they're expanding across emerging markets. You'll own complex solution designs, through discovery, solution design, approval and handover. Lots of interesting problems. The job is less about knowing everything and more about connecting the dots fast, communicating with clarity at any level, and finding the clever path when things get messy. 📍 Curitiba or São Paulo 🇧🇷 Know someone who fits? Tag them below! Apply here → https://lnkd.in/dw2eAH-e
May 2026Everyone talks about how #NetworkTokens improve approval rates, and it's true, we've already proven that. But what about the cards that, for whatever reason, still aren't #tokenized ? I wrote about that gap and how we're solving it. You can read it here, in another EBANX Insights article #payments #EBANX
May 2026We’re in the same boat. It’s AI times. If you are pretending to have figured it out, stop. I speak to founders and CEOs from all over the planet, from São Paulo to Miami to Shanghai. If you’re running a tech company, you’re currently living through fast consecutive cycles of excitement and discomfort. And that’s OK. AI is infusing everything we do, and fast. There’s a lot of advice I could give. Today, I choose this one: pick your team. This is going to be a long journey. Multiple transformations, every month. You’ve got to maintain the route through unmapped seas while rewiring the ship. You will want to share this journey with the people you share values with. Pick your leaders, pick your team. Today, I have the joy and honor of announcing the new CTO and CHRO of EBANX. Kalecser Pasquali Kurtz has been with us for 10 years, leading Engineering with mastery and ambition. He is humble and energized to build through this world reset with EBANX. Jefferson Nunes worked with us in the past. We reached out and negotiated our reconnection on the back of a napkin, no middleman. Because trust is not bought, it’s built. He returns with expanded experience and the appetite for the continuous transformation that defines EBANX. Please help me welcome KK and Jeff! Along with all other ebankers, we’re incredibly excited about what comes next. People, technology, ambition. Those are all massive assets of EBANX . And we’ll build on top of them. Let’s do it.
Apr 2026GREAT NEWS for our merchants: EBANX is taking another important step with its expansion into Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, Vietnam and Turkey. These markets are not waiting for traditional payment models to evolve. They have built their own ecosystems around wallets, real-time transfers, and mobile-first experiences that already shape how hundreds of millions of people buy online. Together, they represent more than 380 million consumers (a USD 610 billion digital commerce opportunity) and a powerful reminder that growth often follows local innovation, not imported formulas. For global merchants, the opportunity is clear. Success in these economies depends less on applying a standard model and more on connecting to the payment habits consumers already trust. With our APAC hub in Singapore and a growing portfolio of local payment methods, we're building the kind of country-by-country infrastructure that makes it possible. Let's go!! 🚀 #EBANX #payments
Apr 2026The opportunity is $457B. The infrastructure is ready. EBANX is now live in Thailand 🇹🇭 , Indonesia 🇮🇩 , and Turkey 🇹🇷 , with Malaysia 🇲🇾 and Vietnam 🇻🇳 following next quarter. Over 380 million consumers transact on an infrastructure that most global merchants simply can't reach yet. That's the gap we're closing. Apr 2026Big news from EBANX today. We are announcing our expansion into FIVE new countries: Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, Vietnam, and Turkey. That brings our footprint in Asia to seven markets, alongside India and the Philippines. 🇮🇳 🇵🇭 🇹🇭 🇮🇩 🇲🇾 🇻🇳 🇹🇷 We now enable access to more than 1.1 billion consumers in the region. This expansion reflects a long term commitment. Since launching in India in 2023, securing our definitive MPI license in Singapore, and going live in the Philippines in 2025, we have been building Asia with intent. Our APAC HQ, with senior leadership on the ground, is driving and accelerating it all. Asia is a world of worlds. I'm excited that we can now offer our merchants a more unified way to grow across the region. From Turkey to Thailand, from India to Indonesia. Partner with EBANX and enable it all. More to come. Thank you to our merchants for the opportunity. Details here: https://lnkd.in/d_48XdDK
Great news for EBANX , even better for the companies we work with. Our expansion into Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam, Malaysia and Turkey opens access to a USD 610 billion digital commerce market and a rapidly growing consumer base. But what really stands out in these markets is the stark difference in the payment landscape, with wallets and A2A already leading in many cases. That has a direct impact on conversion and growth strategies, and is precisely what EBANX tackles with our payment infrastructure. Looking forward to helping more companies unlock that opportunity. #EBANX #payments https://hubs.ly/Q04cvNx70
