I'm really excited to be part of an upcoming webinar hosted by ILSS - India Leaders for Social Sector titled ‘What Effective Boards Do Differently: Best Practices That Drive Impact.’ Over the years at Educate Girls , one of the most meaningful parts of the journey has been building a board that could truly challenge us, support us, push our thinking, and strengthen the organisation in thoughtful and mission-driven ways. It has been such a deeply enriching learning experience for me personally as well. I’ve learned how important it is to stay relentlessly rooted in the mission, keep the communities we serve at the centre of decision-making, and build relationships with the board that are grounded in trust, openness, honesty, and shared purpose. In this conversation, I’m looking forward to sharing some of our learnings from the journey — what worked, what didn’t, the mistakes we made along the way, and how building an effective and values-aligned board has shaped us not only as leaders, but as individuals too. Date: 21 May 2026 Venue: Zoom Time: 5:30 PM – 6:45 PM Really looking forward to engaging with fellow leaders and practitioners from across the sector!! Register here: https://lnkd.in/dm3CAp5Q
