Big release day at Egnyte. Very big! We just announced a set of capabilities that tackle something every organization struggles with—fragmented knowledge that slows decisions and makes AI less reliable. Email Capture. Proposal Coordinator agent. Bidirectional Forma Integration. Vantagepoint Integration. AI Connectors. Image captioning. The list goes on. For AEC firms especially, this one changes a lot about how teams access and act on project information. Excited to see this out in the world! Read the full announcement: https://lnkd.in/g7mpWKm7
May 2026About 30% of Egnyte customers use hybrid deployment for use cases where pure cloud fails - like construction sites needing LAN-speed access to 65,000-page design files.
View source postHi LinkedIn folks. I have been co-leading AI products and platform design at Egnyte for 3 of my last 5 years at the company. I'm writing a series of articles on how to efficiently design with AI at-scale for anyone who is interested in working in this new AI era. This is the first one. Feel free to comment with your thoughts & experiences.
May 2026Is legacy hardware holding your reputation back? Trust is the foundation of any professional firm—but if your clients' data is sitting on outdated servers, that foundation might be shakier than you think. Marlo Alexander, owner of Bosque IT , shares why they’ve moved away from legacy hardware and transitioned into a cloud-centric world with Egnyte . The goal? Keeping secure the firms that have spent decades building their reputations. Key takeaway: Security doesn't have to be complicated. #CyberSecurity #CloudMigration #LegalTech #BosqueIT #Egnyte #DataSecurity #ManagedIT

May 2026𝐒𝐨𝐥𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐄𝐧𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠: 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐄𝐧𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞𝐫 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐨𝐟 𝐨𝐟 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐩𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐨𝐟 𝐨𝐟 𝐒𝐮𝐜𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬 We’re seeing a major shift in how software is sold. Buyers today are more sophisticated and look for a clear path to value realization. This change has pivoted solution engineering from a behind-the-scenes technical function to the very center of the sales cycle. Technology buyers want a partner who can prove the technology works in their company’s ecosystem before they commit. At Egnyte , we have found that Solution Engineers (SEs) are substantially forwarding our growth. Their primary focus is the technical win, and they are designing Proof of Concept (POCs) that are way more than a concept. They are real Proof of Success, created within the customer’s data pools in sandboxed environments to demonstrate how we solve problems, deliver solutions, and show value through actual implementation. We have already made this pivot and are also seeing this within our own technology buying cycle. This shift is also creating an impact on upselling and long-term growth. Because SEs understand a customer’s technical landscape so deeply, they can also spot new opportunities for expansion. The role of the SE has become especially critical with the rise of AI. While many leaders are excited about AI, they are also unsure about its actual adoption. SEs bridge that gap. They take the mystery out of the technology, showing exactly how AI investments drive actual results. They turn a complex and intimidating concept into a practical tool that people feel confident using. As we look ahead, AI agents are joining the team to support solution engineering. These agents can handle time-consuming, busywork such as searching through technical manuals or drafting responses to standard questionnaires. This doesn't replace the engineer; it empowers them. It frees human SEs to focus on what they do best: listening, creative problem-solving, and building the human trust that no algorithm can replicate. How is your team elevating solution engineering to lead your growth strategy? Let me know in the comments.

Apr 2026As a product manager, I've been fascinated by the recent explosion in AI-assisted coding. It's clear that this is more than just a trend; it's a fundamental shift in how we build software. More and more people, from seasoned developers to internal employees and even our customers, are experimenting with AI coding tools to bring their ideas to life. This rapid adoption has a profound implication for all companies: As more people can code, the quality and accessibility of APIs become paramount. It's no longer enough to just have a powerful API; we need to make it incredibly easy for developers to discover and use, especially when they are working alongside an AI assistant. That's why I'm particularly proud of the recent updates we've made to our Egnyte API documentation. We've focused on making it more developer-friendly, with more error codes and cURL examples, to enable our customers to more easily create their own custom applications. For instance, with our updated APIs, a developer working with an AI coding tool can now easily script a solution to manage custom permissions across thousands of folders—a task that was previously a significant manual effort. Another great example is building a dashboard to track folder-level storage growth over time. By calling our Folder Stats API, a simple dashboard can be created to visualize the data and even generate chargeback reports. I'm excited to see what our customers and partners will build with these new capabilities. The future of development is here, and it's all about empowering people to create amazing things with the help of AI and powerful, easy-to-use APIs. If you're interested in exploring our updated API documentation, you can find it here: https://lnkd.in/gAY7DNHW #ProductManagement #AI #DeveloperExperience #API #FutureOfWork #Egnyte
