𝐊𝐮𝐝𝐨𝐬 to all Sales, BD, Customer Success and Account Management people here! Appreciation goes a long way when GTM functions, in the age of AI, are increasingly more complex and difficult to execute: 1️⃣ With 100s of competitors, conveying & convincing about value-prop and uniqueness isn't easy 2️⃣ Selling isn't easy. Even the best products struggle to get traction without a proper GTM strategy & execution 3️⃣ Good GTM people execute playbooks; excellent GTM people build new paths out of nowhere 4️⃣ GTM is about building communities of one that trust you, see you as an expert in the field & product, and want to partner with you 5️⃣ AI is changing the game daily. It can make people more productive and automate some segments. But it cannot replace humanness. That is what makes companies & people buy 6️⃣ Pressure is very high to replicate the success OpenAI , Anthropic , ElevenLabs , Anysphere and others have. These companies outpaced most other previous companies in terms of revenue growth. But they are outliers. Not everyone can be a Google , but companies can still be a Snowflake , a Roblox or a Twilio , for instance. A common belief is that GTM people get motivated only by commissions/bonuses. In fact, standard verbal recognition goes a looong way
May 2026It is not possible to build a successful company without being hyper-competitive; like a pro-athlete but building a startup. As a company scales, some hires aren't that competitive due to risk-aversion (should you even hire those?), but you still need a few that trigger others. At ElevenLabs , I am probably the most competitive one. Sometimes we win, and other times we lose. But the willingness to always do better and never stay comfortable is key. My teams are as crazy as I am.
May 2026ElevenLabs is ending long hold times in aviation. AI agents are changing everything for good. Inbound support, outbound calls, employee training — our solution handles all three. No more IVR loops, endless wait times, or slow onboarding. 70+ languages. Zero hallucinations. Full compliance in EU, US, India. The aviation industry is heavily regulated. We get it. Compliance isn't a blocker. It's our foundation. The question isn't whether AI will transform aviation, the question is when will you take action? Talk to us here: https://lnkd.in/eNigJGB5
May 2026Almost 30 people across 12+ countries in International CS at ElevenLabs . Here's what I've learned when hiring CS globally at this pace: ▪️Be clear on regional needs. The ideal CSM profile changes a lot by region and GTM maturity. In some markets, candidates from Solutions Engineering or Account Management backgrounds outperform traditional CS profiles depending on how the broader GTM org is built. ▪️ Don’t confuse 'living in-region' with 'working with customers in-region.' Pressure test for actual experience operating within the local business culture - communication styles, expectations, language nuance, buying behaviour, etc. ▪️Regional notice periods matter more than you think. A lot of Europe is operating on 3-month notice periods. If you’re scaling internationally, you need to build that into hiring timelines and headcount planning early. ▪️ Don’t just target the obvious companies. Beyond your global top company list, research the strongest local scale-ups too. Some of the best talent comes from companies you’ve never heard of yet - especially for early hires. ▪️ If you don’t have brand presence yet, warm intros are everything. Lean on colleagues to intro you to the best people they’ve worked with at past companies. Once you do establish local presence, your regional GTM leaders become some of your strongest recruiting partners. ▪️ Lastly - none of this works if you don't have amazing Talent partners who are constantly pivoting, iterating and learning with you along the way Becky Lee-Roche Innokentiy Belyaev Jake Meer 🤝 And - if you’re building CS globally at an AI company, it’s worth connecting with other CS leaders doing the same. The right CS profile varies a lot and I have a good list of strong candidates I'd refer for companies w/ less technical products - DM me if that's useful. #hiring #gtm

May 2026Running an engagement survey is one of the most valuable datasets you can have as a People team. But ignoring the results is the biggest failure mode. Last month we asked 396 people how they really feel about working at ElevenLabs . 94% responded - about 30 points above industry average. A good sign that people either care deeply… or really enjoy filling in forms. What came back: high eNPS, strong belief in the mission, and genuine pride in the work and the people behind it. Also some clear signals on pace, recognition, and growth. We shared all of it back - to every lead, every team. Because checking the pulse and then ignoring it is just theatre. Now comes the important (and exciting) part: the work. 😃 Ps. did I mention that 396 is a multiple of 11?
