Day 2 at #SITS26 , and honestly, nothing feared, nothing gained. The amount of insight my brain has absorbed today should probably count as CPD hours on its own. I’ve always known I talk a lot (no surprise there), but today that “talkative trait” turned out to be my superpower. It pushed me to approach people, ask bold questions, and learn without hesitation. As an early‑career ITSM professional on a mission to grow, I’m genuinely proud I took this leap and showed up at #SITS26 . One line that stuck with me came from Adam Pilton : “When your wave hits, what do you want to be?” He meant it in a cyber security context, but for me, it hit deeper. I’m restarting my career journey, and this is my moment to stand up, be counted, and take risks, like taking annual leave from my Mental Health Support Worker role, travelling 200+ miles, and investing in my future before the wave even arrives. To the industry giants and future employers watching: That alone should tell you the kind of determination you’d be getting on your team. 'Hint-hint' Highlights of the day? They say all work and no play huh.... Winning a raffle at #Atomicwork Atomicwork and chatting with CEO Vijay Rayapati Playing (and winning again!) at #Flexera , plus a great conversation with Regional VP Michael Burbidge Connecting with Hornbill’s Ricky Fearon . And asking the right questions with #Hudu ’s Hudu ’s CEO, Jacob Hart . I told you I talk too much — but hey, it’s working for me. Here’s to Day 2, growth, courage, and catching that wave when it hits. #SITS26 #ITSM #ServiceManagement #TechSupport #ITOperations #ChangeManagement #IncidentManagement #TechCareers #DigitalTransformation
