🚲 The best way I know to start a workday. One recent morning, I made two stops before I ever opened a laptop. First drop — elementary school. Then looping back around to preschool. Two kids, two rides, one bike, and the best 30 minutes of my day before the schedule kicks in. For that window of time, before the meetings and the deadlines take over, it’s just us. Here’s what I’ve learned: work will always be there. The inbox never empties. The to-do list never fully clears. But these rides? They have an expiration date. We talk about balancing family with career, but it’s easy for that to stay theoretical. The bike rides make it real — a decision I make before the day takes the wheel. And honestly? I show up to work sharper for it. Build your schedule. Hit your goals. But carve out something for the people who matter most — even if it’s just two school drop-offs and a bike ride home. Who else has a morning ritual that keeps you grounded? 👇
Apr 2026Over a year ago, I started building WellthyWell while still working full-time in corporate. Two months ago, I finally walked away from corporate to go all in because I could not silence the inner voice anymore telling me I was made for something else. It wasn't a leap of faith (although that is what it felt like). It was a decision I'd been building toward for 12 months. And it started not with a business plan, but with a feeling. Over 10 years ago I was deep in my own wellness journey and felt completely alone in it. I didn't know how to navigate the landscape. I couldn't find the right functional providers. I didn't know where to look for resources I could actually trust. And I had no one around me going through the same thing. I figured I wasn't the only one. So I built what I wished had existed — a place where people could find their community, get real education about their health, and actually be connected to the right resources and providers for their unique journey. Not another wellness feed to scroll. A real home for people who are serious about their health but tired of figuring it out alone. That community has been growing in San Diego for over a year now and in Dallas for six months. And we are taking it further!! We're expanding into Austin, Nashville, St. Pete, and Los Angeles — and we're building it the only way that makes sense for us. By finding one or two people in each city who already live at the intersection of community and wellness culture....and empowering them to lead it locally. It's a distributed community model, rooted in IRL connection and supported by a growing digital home for our members coming soon. And after 14 months of building, I'm more convinced than ever that this is how wellness brands scale without losing what made them worth building in the first place. Here's what I've learned: → People are desperately craving real connection, not more content → Community & belonging is the product….everything else supports it → The fastest way to scale trust is to find people who already have it locally → Betting on people over platforms will always win We're looking for City Leads & Ambassadors in Dallas, Austin, Nashville, St. Pete, and LA. These are connectors — people who know their city, are embedded in the local wellness scene, and want to be part of building something meaningful on the ground. ‼️ If that sounds like you or someone in your network, I'd love to hear from you (DM me!). We're just getting started. And I couldn't be more energized by what's ahead. Excited to take you along for the ride! 🚀
