Apr 2026Tomorrow (April 18) is National Lineman Appreciation Day in the US. These are the men and women who keep our lights on, even (and especially) in trying conditions after storms and late at night. They are the often-unsung heroes of the grid. But their work goes beyond storm restoration heroics and is crucial to building the grid of the future, as my Escalent colleague Suzanne Haggerty writes. For utilities, these stories are great ways to connect the "human" element of grid modernization with customers. Take a few minutes to read, and next time you see a bucket truck, stop and thank the folks for what they're doing to keep us all in power. https://lnkd.in/eG6jFTet
With many of us being impacted by wild and wicked storms, the Energy research being done by experts like Escalent 's Suzanne Haggerty brings light to the folks behind the scenes. Check out this recent blog and let's share some appreciation for the field crews keeping our electrical grids running smoothly. #NationalLinemanAppreciationDay #Energy #EscalentInc
Apr 2026If the world wants to go EV, it's a bigger picture that needs our attention. In honor of National Linemen Appreciation Day, my Escalent colleague shares insights on how electric utilities can strengthen brand trust by shifting from outage-focused storytelling to proactive communication—highlighting the continuous, behind-the-scenes work of line workers. Check it out below! #Insights #Utilities https://lnkd.in/gCsvTNqt
Apr 2026What a great follow up to Chris Barnes’s talk at the Intellus Summit. My colleague Courtney Kerwin with more on MFN pricing and how it relates to our decision-making in research. Escalent C Space Hall & Partners
Apr 2026Proof of how quickly transportation electrification is happening in the US? In 2021, only 40% of new vehicle shoppers considered an electrified powertrain (hybrid, PHEV, or BEV). As of this year, it's 75%! Hybrid is the biggest winner, with nearly 60% of shoppers considering the powertrain. BEV has been pretty stable at around 40% the past couple of years, while PHEV is up to about a third of shoppers. More to come in the next couple of weeks when we publish Escalent 's 2026 EVForward US Market Profile report!
