Most developers today are experimenting with AI as a copilot or pair programmer. That’s a good start, but it’s only scratching the surface. There’s a bigger change happening. In this article, I’ll introduce agentic workflows for software development, a new way of building software that goes beyond prompting and into fully structured, AI-driven systems. https://lnkd.in/dBhCyrJy
Apr 2026Claude Opus 4.7 is here. Our most capable model to date — purpose-built for agentic coding, long-horizon autonomy, and the most demanding enterprise workflows. Available today on Claude and in the Google Cloud Vertex AI Model Garden. Opus 4.7 delivers meaningful gains across: Advanced software engineering Multimodal reasoning Long-horizon autonomous work Professional knowledge work in finance, life sciences, and cybersecurity What early testers are telling us: they're handing off complex engineering work that used to require close supervision. Opus 4.7 carries it through from start to finish — rigorously, consistently, and with precise attention to instructions. It excels on long-horizon engineering projects, complex UI design, and work spanning large codebases. And it devises its own ways to verify outputs before reporting back. Apr 2026Week 2 post-"Weekly reflection" – "Environmental Tribunals at a Digital Crossroads" This week, I’ve been reflecting on a central tension: As environmental tribunals become more digital, are we strengthening justice—or redefining it? The integration of AI and technology into adjudicatory systems offers undeniable benefits— efficiency, speed, and enhanced institutional capacity. Yet, across this exploration, a few concerns consistently emerge: Access may improve, but participation may shrink Decision-making may become faster, but less transparent Systems may become smarter, but not necessarily fairer At the heart of it lies a deeper realization: Justice is not merely an outcome—it is a process shaped by voice, visibility, and accountability. Environmental tribunals have historically played a vital role in bridging gaps— between law and science, rights and remedies, communities and institutions. As they stand at this digital crossroads, the challenge is not just to adopt new tools, but to preserve the very essence of justice they were designed to deliver. Algorithmic environmental justice is not about resisting technology— it is about ensuring that technology remains aligned with constitutional values and human realities. Ending this week with a thought: 👉 The future of environmental adjudication will not depend on how advanced our systems become, but on how firmly they remain anchored in justice. #EnvironmentalJustice #GreenTribunals #AIandLaw #RuleOfLaw #ReflectivePractice
