Cybersecurity has always been a holistic topic for me - with interesting cross-domain impact - and the need to think end-to-end as well as in ecosystem is not going away. With the CRA, all products need to adopt their approach to the product cybersecurity lifecycle and be able to ensure coverage throughout and maintain their cybersecurity risk landscape. For OEMs and Tier 1s in the off-highway and commercial vehicle space, diagnostics therefore is no longer just a service function. It’s becoming a core cybersecurity and compliance topic across the entire vehicle lifecycle. In this webinar, my colleagues Tsz Shing (Tee) Wong , Marcos Cardoso and Rob Cheesey will break down the 5 biggest challenges the CRA brings to diagnostics. Topics include: 🔐 Concrete steps to embed security by design 🛠️ Practical tips to control diagnostic access 🔄 How to manage the full lifecycle 📋 CRA-ready processes, tooling, and documentation If you’re working in diagnostics, cybersecurity, ECU software development, validation or compliance, this session is worth joining. May 2026350+ visitors 👥 | 8 customer groups 🤝 | 4 amazing colleagues on stage 🎤 | and one big, passionate heart ❤️ from the entire Bosch Rexroth Italia team These numbers tell part of the story… but what really made #PowerOn2026 special were the people, the conversations, and the shared vision. For two days, we didn’t just meet customers — we connected, exchanged ideas, and built together the future of the #OffHighway sector 🚜⚙️ I’m truly proud and honored to have been part of such an inspiring event 🙏 One of the highlights for me was the open and honest discussion around upcoming European regulations 🇪🇺 — from #Cybersecurity 🔐 to #Safety ⚠️. Talking about the Cyber Resilience Act and the Machinery Regulation with customers made the dialogue incredibly concrete and valuable. What made it even more meaningful was seeing how, within Bosch Italia , we are increasingly working as one team 💡 The collaboration between ETAS and Bosch Rexroth Italia is getting stronger every day, enabling us to tackle together the key challenges ahead: ⚡ Electrification 🤖 Advanced automation 🔐 Cybersecurity But beyond technology and strategy, what I will really take home is the atmosphere. A unique mix of competence, energy, passion… and that unmistakable Italian touch 🇮🇹✨ And the best feedback of all? Seeing engaged, satisfied customers who truly felt part of the journey 🙌 This is what makes the difference, what drives us forward. Let’s keep building the future — together 🚀 #PowerOn2026 #ETAS #Cybersecurity #REXROTH #offhighway
May 2026We have returned from the #DewesoftMC26 in Slovenia fully recharged and inspired by the incredible atmosphere. Beyond the high-end technical sessions, the real highlight was the depth of the conversations. Exchanging ideas with fellow experts and seeing the sheer passion behind global engineering projects was a fantastic experience. Our core mission at the conference: We showcased how to bridge the critical gap between pure data acquisition and the transformation into actionable information with our ETAS tool chain. Because let’s be honest: in modern engineering, capturing data is just the first step—it’s the transformation that drives progress. A huge thank you to Dewesoft for being such outstanding hosts. A special thanks to Tomaž Kos , Daniel Beenken and Martin Frolec for sharing your time and expertise with us—it made the experience truly special. #Dewesoft #MC2026 #ETAS #AI #DataTransformation #Networking #openDAQ

Apr 2026Today, I came across the following statement: "AI won’t replace humans, but humans with AI will replace humans without AI. (Harvard Business Review)".
Apr 2026Can you predict what this C code will do? If you're using clang 11.0.0 or lower (from 3.9.0), you're in for a nasty surprise. Check it out on Godbolt: https://lnkd.in/dq-t8KPE It prints out "UNREACHABLE" and exits the application with an error. Look at the assembly: the label for main isn't even there! The problem is actually in LLVM and the way it optimizes loops. If you compile the same in C++, you will get the same nasty surprise, and in even later versions (until clang 18.1.0). The reasoning has to do with optimizing loops and that the C++ standard allows optimizations of loops by making assumptions that a loop will always terminate. There's a pretty good write up of it here: https://lnkd.in/dJtDGs8D In "normal" software development, infinite loops are not really something you want, but in embedded, they definitely have their place either as an idle loop in an OS, or a the end of a test firmware, or perhaps a place for the micro-controller to sit and wait for a reset from a watchdog. Whatever it is, if you have a compiler that uses LLVM as its backend, be aware that this exists.
Apr 2026The Relentless Race Against Time In the modern automotive industry, the clock is unforgiving. Engineering teams are caught in a relentless race, expected to deliver complex embedded software at unprecedented speeds without making a single compromise on safety. The Bottleneck: We all know the theoretical solution: Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD). But anyone who has fought in the trenches of automotive software knows the reality. Implementing rapid CI/CD workflows into highly complex AUTOSAR-based environments is a monumental challenge. It often feels like trying to navigate a massive ship through a narrow canal. The Blueprint: But what if you could break this bottleneck? In our latest on-demand session, my colleagues Karthi Krishna S and Subash Scindia reveal exactly how to overcome the heavy limitations of traditional development. They break down real-world CI/CD workflows that allow you to achieve incredibly fast iteration cycles while keeping absolute quality and compliance intact. If you are struggling to keep up with the speed of modern mobility, it is time to change your strategy. #YourAmbitionIsOurMission #AUTOSAR #ETAS 👉 Unlock the full blueprint and watch the recording here: https://lnkd.in/dg7CHuD8
