I was in Finland 🇫🇮 when another country called. I was literally on the ground in Helsinki already living what once felt like a dream when a Ghanian reached out to say hi and mentioned she follows me on LinkedIn and she'd like me to speak at an event in Ghana, which I did earlier this year. Happened on the spot in the picture below. That moment taught me something I'll never forget: one global opportunity doesn't complete the journey. It opens the opportunity for more. The world sees you differently once you've been seen by the world. Doors you never knocked on start swinging open because your presence in one room speaks to other rooms that you belong there too. This is the thing people don't tell you about global opportunities. Once you're on an international stage, you become the kind of person other international stages look for. Visibility and credibility compounds. And suddenly, the world stops feeling like a place you're trying to get into and starts feeling like a place you already belong. This is why I ignore people who downplay visibility and call it vanity metrics. Sadly, attention is a currency in today's world, you just need to have the right kind I guess. Sometimes, the opportunities that change your life come simply because you were seen. That's why we've put together a paid 4-day masterclass from (May 22nd to 26th) where we reveal the models and frameworks that position you for global opportunities. We have speakers like myself Temilade , Emmanuel , and Marc . Comment "OPPORTUNITIES" and I'll send the link to you. Special offer: Use the code "SAVE20" and get in for $30/NGN 50K instead of 100K (only available until May 21st).
May 2026Happy to share that I have successfully completed the NABH Quality Managers Certificate Course. It was a great learning experience that helped me understand the essentials of NABH accreditation and its processes in depth. The course has also given me a new perspective on hospital operations and quality systems. Looking forward to applying these learnings in my day-to-day work and contributing more effectively towards quality healthcare delivery.
May 2026When I joined Independence Pet Holdings last year, I knew the data organization needed to evolve — but the scale of what that meant only became clear in the last few months. This week we hit a milestone we've been working toward since September: our data team has officially realigned into a single, unified enterprise group. No more siloed functions. One team, one direction. We're moving fast — out of design and into build. Enterprise data infrastructure is being deployed, and we're starting to pull data feeds from across the organization into a modern, high-performance stack built on MS Azure & Databricks. But here's the thing about transformations at this scale: the business doesn't pause while you work. It's a bit like replacing an engine mid-flight. The new infrastructure has to come online cleanly, without disrupting the reporting and analytics that the business runs on today. That tension — speed vs. stability — is where the real work happens. None of this happens without great people. I'm extremely fortunate to be doing this alongside a fantastic team: • Kat LaSota — Data Strategy & Planning • Ashley Flubacher — Reporting, Analytics, & Data Science • Ben Bowman — Data Governance • Jeffrey Abell - Data Governance • Rohit Kamble - Data Engineering • Roy Jones — Data Engineering These aren't just titles. Each of them has a critical role to play, and is doing it well. Over the next few months I'll be posting more specifically about how things are progressing — the engineering challenges, the cultural shift that comes with enterprise realignment, the decisions to make, hurdles to overcome, and what it takes to unify a complex, multi-company data portfolio. More to come. 👇 #DataLeadership #PetInsurance #EnterpriseData #DataEngineering #MSAzure #Databricks
Apr 2026Ageing is natural. Disability is not. In Nigeria, older adults are losing their independence to conditions that could be prevented or managed, simply because rehabilitation arrives too late, or not at all. One physiotherapist for every 100,000 people. Women leaving work to become unpaid, untrained carers. A system built for repair, not prevention. We cannot talk about economic growth or gender equity while ignoring what weak ageing systems are doing to Nigerian families. I wrote about it. Link in comments.
Apr 2026Parkinson's doesn't just affect movement; it affects livelihoods, relationships, entire households, and communities. Rehabilitation is critical to maintaining mobility and independence for people living with Parkinson's disease. The physiotherapist, therefore, becomes not just a clinician, but a system intervention. In LMICs, where rehabilitation is scarce and families bear the full burden of care, that distinction matters more than ever. This World Parkinson's Day, let's think beyond the clinic and demand rehabilitation for all. #WorldParkinsonsDay #Physiotherapy #RehabilitationScience #LMIC #AgingWell #NeuroRehab
