Airport connectivity is becoming one of the most important parts of multimodal travel✈️🚌. I took a flight from Memmingen last week and reached the airport via our FlixBus line connecting directly to it, and I have to say, it’s a great solution. I did not need to worry about booking parking I did not need to worry about driving myself, and could spend time going through some work And I did not need to worry about any stops on the way. Just directly from the center of Munich to the airport. 💻 🌍The bus was brand new, the driver was super friendly, and we had our new AI-powered international announcement system on it, so the information was given in multiple languages, which was a great feature, especially for an airport connection like this one. At Flix , we have recently started doubling down on connecting airports with cities and further destinations via bus. We believe it’s a perfect combination, and that's why we also acquired flibco.com earlier this year to help expand this part of our business in multiple countries in Europe. 🚀This is exactly the kind of seamless, affordable travel experience we want to scale across Europe. And my personal experience heading into the long weekend couldn’t have been better.

May 2026It's been 6 months since our Flix and KOLEO cooperation began. Trains and buses in one system and app, and our customers have surprised us once again! We've heard many different opinions about our cooperation, including some doubts like: "Why would a train customer choose a bus?" or "What's new here? People could book both trains and buses before", and more of those. Some commentators suggested that interconnections between regional trains and international bus lines would never take off. Thank you, passengers, for proving us all wrong! Customers booked over 1,200 unique combinations of routes using buses and trains. That's far beyond anything we anticipated. What's more, against all odds, the FlixBus routes sold via Koleo are heavily used on pairs of cities well-served by trains like Warsaw–Kraków or Kraków–Katowice. When given the full choice of trains and buses, passengers choose what truly fits their needs in terms of price, travel time, comfort, and product. And that was the whole point of our cooperation. A couple of days ago, the EU Commission announced plans to streamline train travel across the entire continent focusing especially on interconnectivity, single-app solutions, and easy booking. Well, dear EU decision-makers, I hope your system will be as easy to use as Koleo. And notably, the majority of connections featured in the promo materials for this new single European ticket are already bookable in one system: FlixBus. You can find more details and a summary of the first 6 months of our cooperation in the article. [link in the comment box]
May 2026Few days ago we had the privilege of hosting our Global CFO and VP Accounting right here in Sofia for our All Hands meeting — and what an energizing experience it was. It's not every day that leadership travels across the globe to connect with teams in person — and moments like these reinforce why we show up, give our best, and believe in the journey we're on together. 💚 Thank you Maria Laubach and Benjamin Gubitz
May 2026Everyone in Europe is now talking about Hungary, we did just a couple of days before the elections. Now it’s time for the next step: visiting this beautiful country! Spoiler alert: we didn’t talk about politics. We focused on people current and potential customers especially those who visit Hungary but end up only seeing Budapest. Yet there is so much more to explore, and it’s not easy to get there unless you rent a car. Why is that? Hungary remains one of the last closed markets in the European Union, not allowing the opening of commercial domestic transportation. A local operator has been granted 10 years of exclusivity rights. As a result, as a tourist landing in Budapest, you can’t travel far. In other markets, like Poland, using Flix Bus you can reach almost every important and interesting destination. For example, we stop nearly 30 times a day at Warsaw Chopin Airport, offering hundreds of direct connections. We are ready to do the same in Hungary, but regulations and the approach of the authorities need to change. With the recent change of government, there is hope that more openness will emerge and that both Hungarians and foreign visitors will be offered affordable and sustainable mobility options. Some of these options are already within reach our buses operate on the Budapest–Győr route up to 12 times a day, but we can’t sell those tickets domestically. It simply makes no sense. That’s not all we covered in our conversation with Pénzcentrum . This time, I’ll refer you to the full interview, link in the comments. I strongly encourage you to check why we believe offline sales still matter and will remain important for a long time. Enjoy the read and even more, enjoy your next stay in Hungary!
May 2026A few months ago, we launched a music IP that was nothing but an experiment. An experiment to see if we can stay true to the music, while positioning the Flix brand at the centre of it. And we were blown away by how much people loved it. Did we break the internet? Probably not. But did we get enough conviction to keep on building it further, hell yes! So here's presenting, Window Seat Season 2. Featuring 6 artistes from 6 different states of India, Window Seat S2 will take you on a ride from the hills of Uttarakhand to the backwaters of Kerala(m). This season will be bigger, better and so much louder! Big big big ups to the team behind making this happen. Yash , Aakash ! And to our amazing partners at Painting Pictures , led by the 'calm as a block of ice' Navaldeep Arora . Thank you for making our buses look even better. I didn't know that was possible. Episode 1 drops on 29th April. Stay tuned! Surya Khurana Shovit Mehrotra Raghav Shukla Vaishali Singh Shrey Arora Nityanand Baranwal Prerana Mundhra Alexander Schlüter Dikdyuti S. Apr 2026Scale builds reach. Transparency builds trust. As Flix continues to grow across markets, connecting more people and places than ever before, we’re equally focused on how we grow - not just how fast. This year, we’ve released our fourth voluntary #ESG report, capturing the progress we’ve made in building a more sustainable, inclusive, and responsible mobility ecosystem. What stands out is not just the scale of our network, but the cumulative impact of everyday travel choices - and how they contribute to a larger shift toward collective, lower-emission transport. A few highlights from this year’s report: -1.5 million tonnes of CO₂ avoided globally by Flix passengers choosing bus over car or plane -8,700+ destinations in 40+ countries connected, 31% in cities of less than 20,000 inhabitants, increasing connectivity also across sparsely populated areas ~120 buses powered by alternative drives and fuels in 2025 200+ ESG indicators reported in line with ESRS standards -First-ever independent third-party assurance of GHG Emissions (Scope 1, 2, and Category 11 of Scope 3) This report is more than a reflection of where we are - it’s a benchmark for where we need to go. As collective transport becomes more central to how people move, the opportunity and responsibility to get this right only grows. Apr 2026Our fourth voluntary sustainability report is out today, and from a fleet transformation perspective, it is a reflection of where we are and where we are heading. The bus industry does still face a series of infrastructure gaps and technological challenges, such as charging stations, vehicle availability, and total cost of operation. But we also believe that these can be overcome across the industry to move towards a more sustainable future. Here is where we as Flix stand today: 🌍 1.5 million tonnes of CO₂ avoided globally by Flix passengers choosing bus over car or plane 🚌 8,700+ destinations across 40+ countries, 31% in cities of fewer than 20,000 inhabitants ⚡ ~120 buses powered by alternative drives and fuels in 2025 📊 200+ ESG indicators reported in line with ESRS standards ✅ First-ever independent third-party assurance of our GHG Emissions (Scope 1, Scope 2 & Category 11 of Scope 3) To me, 120 coaches on alternative drives and fuels is a big milestone. We naturally are focused on how we can continue to scale this further, but it requires continued investments in the industry, strong collaboration with the manufacturers, and the right political framework to accelerate the transition to alternative drives. Apr 2026Our fourth voluntary sustainability report is out, and it reflects our ESG efforts over the last year. As we continue to grow, so does our responsibility to be a more sustainable, reliable, and responsible company that offers much-needed travel options to millions of people. This year’s report looks at just how big an impact a company of our size has, and how many millions of small decisions add up to a much bigger picture. A few highlights from this year’s report are: 🌍 1.5 million tonnes of CO₂ avoided globally by Flix passengers choosing bus over car or plane 🚌 8,700+ destinations in 40+ countries connected, 31% in cities of less than 20,000 inhabitants, increasing connectivity also across sparsely populated areas ⚡ ~120 buses powered by alternative drives and fuels in 2025 📊 200+ ESG indicators reported in line with ESRS standards ✅ First-ever independent third-party assurance of our GHG Emissions (Scope 1, Scope 2 & Category 11 of Scope 3) Individual actions, multiplied, can drive massive change, and enabling that transformation is our responsibility. We believe that everyone should be able to make more sustainable choices. That’s why, together with our partners, we are committed to increasing our network even further to make affordable collective travel available to more people.
