I recently stumbled across a statistic that genuinely made me pause. 1 in 6 women have considered leaving their job due to menopause and a lack of support. I was aware of the topic itself, of course, but what surprised me was how little it’s talked about in the workplace. This is not a marginal topic; it’s something that impacts a significant portion of the workforce. This is happening at a stage when many women are at their most experienced, leading teams, making critical decisions, mentoring others. And yet, for something so common, it remains largely invisible in the workplace. But what struck me most wasn’t just the data; it was the silence around it. As leaders, as businesses, we spend a lot of time talking about inclusion, retention, and performance. This sits right at the intersection of all three yet rarely makes it into the conversation in my experience. The ask here isn’t so complex: Create a culture where people don’t feel they have to navigate important life stages alone. Because the real risk isn’t menopause to be honest, It’s losing exceptional, experienced people. #Leadership #Inclusion #Wellbeing #WomenAtWork #FutureOfWork #menopause
May 2026AI is transforming motion production at an incredible pace. From environments to VFX, it’s quickly becoming the new CGI, faster, cheaper, and more scalable. But there’s one area where it still falls short in my opinion: human emotion. You can often tell it’s AI within the very first second a face appears on screen. Not because of lighting or detail, those are improving fast, but because something feels missing. A subtle lack of emotional authenticity. That’s because emotion isn’t just visual. It’s lived experience. It’s intention, timing, and imperfection, things actors would bring naturally, but AI can only approximate. (for now) To me AI is an incredible tool for creation, but not yet a true replacement for human performance. Because storytelling isn’t just about what we see. It’s about what we feel. So the real opportunity isn’t replacement, it’s collaboration. Let AI scale and enhance production but Let humans drive emotional truth. Because in the end, technology might impress us… But emotion is what connects us. #AI #CreativeTech #Filmmaking #Storytelling #FutureOfWork #GenerativeAI #creative
May 2026Capgemini just released a very interesting new report, AI-powered CX, with a lot of insights and highlights. What I want to highlight from it is not so much about AI, but this part: "CX teams continue to prioritize metrics such as NPS, CSAT, and sentiment scores. However, these indicators are seldom linked to core business outcomes such as revenue, profitability, churn reduction, or customer lifetime value (CLV)." There's nothing wrong with measuring NPS and CSAT etc, but why do you even do it (still) if you're not going to connect them to business impact? Customer experience matters. We all know it, but we should be able to prove it, not just feel it. Download the report to read (what to do about) this, and other very interesting insights about CX: https://lnkd.in/dyFEaCeY
