Good perspective on Succession Planning as the platform to develop the leaders that the company need in the future, rather than a reactive exercise.

May 2026Passion can't be taught. It can only be harnessed. Behind every menu item at Galaxy Arena is a team that obsesses over the details—production concepts, hold times, pricing, replenishment, and the relentless pursuit of better. This time we were deep in R&D, chasing down an iconic Macau street food classic: the Pork Chop Bun 🇲🇴. Adjustments made. Taste tests done. Then came the sauce. Ben, one of our executive managers, took one bite and stopped the room: "This is it. This is the sauce that makes it perfect. This is so good, people will buy a concert ticket just for the chance to buy our Pork Chop Bun." That kind of conviction? You don't teach it. You get out of its way. So here's the truth: if you want the best Pork Chop Bun in Macau, you need a ticket to the next concert or #UCF event at #GalaxyArena . No shortcuts. No substitutes. Keep doing what you do, Ben Ng . The bun—and the belief—speaks for itself.
May 2026The sad reality it happens far too often…. You see followers being drawn in - it’s certainly a weakness of character on both sides. Thank you for sharing Amanda Joy C.

Apr 2026People always say “rest in peace” after someone dies, as if peace is something we only deserve at the end. But why do we wait until life is over to wish for calm, kindness, and freedom from pain? Why can’t we choose to live in peace while we’re still here — with ourselves and with each other? Maybe the real challenge isn’t just honoring peace in death, but creating it in life.
Apr 2026Q1 closed. Q2 opens. Today, we started it with paddles, not PowerPoints. Full team on the pickleball court—beginners mixing with the quietly competitive, everyone fully locked in. By the playoffs, you could feel that rare energy when people are genuinely present with each other. Then my colleague asked the question that landed: “how do we keep this sort of energy tomorrow” A similar question raised my an excellent facilitator many years ago-"How do we keep this from becoming warm bath water?" They were naming my accountability. The energy of a great team day feels potent, but I know the pattern. Tomorrow the inbox refills. Next week the Q2 pressure mounts. And slowly—imperceptibly—the warmth cools. Not because the team failed. Because I failed to protect it. The best teams don't sustain momentum by accident. They sustain it because leaders build rituals small enough to survive the pressure: five-minute check-ins that aren't about status, shared wins spoken aloud, the discipline of actually seeing each other between the tasks. Q2 will demand a different version of us. Markets shift. Priorities pivot. My job and that of the leaders in my team isn't to schedule more culture days—it's to make sure today's energy doesn't cool in the transition. That's on me - I own that. Thank you to everyone that brought the energy today and here’s to keeping it going tomorrow. What's one ritual you use to keep team energy from cooling between the big moments?
