National Police Week in Washington, DC was a powerful reminder of the sacrifices made every day by law enforcement officers and their families. It was truly an honor to attend on behalf of Galls and stand alongside so many agencies, leaders, sheriffs, and longtime partners who came together to honor the fallen officers and deputies from their departments. There were many emotional moments throughout the week, but what stood out most was the level of respect, unity, and unwavering support shown for those who serve and the families who stand beside them. Police Week is a reminder of what this profession asks of the people who wear the badge, and what it asks of the families who stand beside them. It’s a week of remembrance for the officers who made the ultimate sacrifice, but it’s also a reflection of the strength, discipline, and commitment that continue to define the law enforcement community every single day. Across the country, officers, survivors, agencies, and supporters come together during Police Week to honor those we’ve lost and support those who continue to serve. It’s a powerful reminder that behind every badge is a person who chose a profession built on responsibility, sacrifice, and service to others. At GALLS, we never lose sight of who this work is for. Our customers run toward situations most people run from, and that responsibility matters to us. They deserve our very best—not just during Police Week, but every day.
