May 2026Last week we wrapped up training sessions for the commercial teams across Vancouver, London, New York, and Chicago. It was a great couple of weeks focused on continuing to build a stronger sales enablement framework as our teams grow, with sessions centered around AI Surveillance, elevator pitches, and how we better communicate value. The best part was getting everyone together in a room and experiencing the collaboration across Global Relay teams. Lots of engagement, thoughtful conversations, and strong ideas shared throughout the sessions. Thanks to everyone who helped organize and lead the sessions, and to all who participated 🤗
May 2026After 30 years building and leading application support teams at companies like Salesforce and Global Relay, I kept seeing the same problem: systems built to ship, but not built to be supported. So I developed a framework I call #SupportabilityEngineering , the practice of designing supportability into every phase of development, from requirements through to release, so that when something breaks at 2am, your team already knows exactly what to do. I'm currently open to new opportunities and looking to bring this approach to an organization that is serious about operational maturity. Whether you need someone to build your support function from scratch, reduce investigation times, or embed supportability thinking into your engineering culture, that's the work I do. If that sounds like a conversation worth having, my inbox is open. #OpenToWork #ApplicationSupport #EngineeringLeadership #SRE #DevOps #IncidentManagement
