G’day. Sometimes you’re lucky and clients become partners. Sometimes you’re luckier and partners become friends. And sometimes you’re super-duper lucky and find yourself surrounded by inspiring unicorn humans. Aaron Zang from Oasis Stay is one of those humans for me. We met when we opened Guesty in Australia back in 2019. He was already a client then- running Optinest. Then COVID hit… and somehow Aaron came out stronger. He moved on from Optinest and launched Oasis Stay, growing it into one of Melbourne’s leading PMCs. Then came the collaboration with AirTrip in Brisbane, which eventually became part of the Oasis journey as well. And now most recently, life has done a full circle moment- with Aaron acquiring his old home, Optinest. What I admire most is not just the growth. It’s the way he built it: hard work, attention to detail, owner and guest care, a lean and strong team, humility, consistency, big brain and an even bigger heart. One of the best operators I know. Proud of you mate, and proud to call you a friend. Zoe J.

Exciting to see AI reshaping the guest experience in hospitality 🏨✨ Turning everyday guest requests into revenue opportunities — without the operational headache — is exactly the kind of innovation this Guesty brings. The best upsells are the ones guests actually want, and delivering them seamlessly at the right moment in the journey is a game-changer for operators. Flexibility for guests + revenue for operators + 5-star memories = a true win-win. 🛎️💰⭐ #HospitalityTech #GuestExperience #AI #RevenueManagement #Guesty

Your PMS has AI features. Your team turned them on. And six weeks later, nobody's using them. Not because they failed. Because nobody figured out what to actually trust the AI to do — and what still needed a human. That's where most operators are stuck right now. Not at adoption. At trust. The AI conversation in short-term rentals right now is stuck at the surface. Chatbots that answer FAQs. Auto-responders that send the check-in email. Tools that feel impressive in a demo and then quietly get ignored because nobody ever helped operators figure out where the handoff is. Trust is the real issue. And I get it. If your AI can authorize a late checkout, great — you have a process for that. But what if it says yes to delivering a keg of beer to a property? What if it makes a pricing decision you didn't understand? What if it modifies a reservation you needed to review? The reason most operators are still using AI at the surface level isn't because they don't see the value. It's because nobody ever helped them figure out what to trust it with and what to keep human. That changes when the AI is built into your PMS — because then it's working from your actual property data, your actual booking history, your actual guest interactions. It's not a bolt-on. It's not a separate tool you have to sync. It knows your operation. Guesty Copilot is rolling out now. The concept is simple: instead of running a report to find your top booking channels by revenue, you just ask. Instead of pulling a dashboard to see which properties are underperforming this quarter, you ask. The data is already in the system — the copilot surfaces it on demand. That's a different category from a chatbot. That's decision support. Before this launches in your account, do one thing: write down three tasks your team does every day that require zero creativity or judgment. Answering the same guest questions on rotation. Manual rate checks. Pulling owner reports. Those are your first AI candidates. And your first hours back.

Property managers spend a significant part of every day doing things that don't require them. Responding to guest reviews. Coordinating maintenance tasks. Messaging guests about check-in logistics. These aren't strategic decisions. They're operational overhead — and they happen on rotation, every single day, across every single property. The problem isn't that operators don't know this. The problem is there's never been a trustworthy alternative. Automated templates feel generic. Canned responses miss the point of the actual review. And handing something that touches your reputation to a tool you don't fully trust is a real risk — not an irrational one. Here's where the conversation about AI in property management has shifted. Gathering data — that's table stakes now. Drawing insights from that data — we're already there. The new frontier is AI that actually acts on your behalf in a way you can trust. And trust is the operative word. I was recently in a demo with an operator who told me her PMS had automated review responses. I asked if it would read a guest's specific review, understand what they said, and write a response that addressed their actual experience. She said, well, no — they have templates. That's the difference. Guesty 's Reply AI reads the review. It understands the context. It drafts a response that speaks to what that specific guest said — not a template with a name swapped in. You review it, you approve it, and over time, as you build trust in what it's producing, you can let it run on the four and five star reviews automatically. You stay involved on the ones and twos. Same logic applies to task coordination. An owner reports a broken air conditioning unit. Instead of that landing in your inbox and requiring you to get on a call, schedule a vendor, and follow up — an automated task fires. The right vendor gets assigned. The work gets scheduled. You get notified when it's done. The hours that come back from removing this overhead don't just reduce stress. They go back into the parts of the business that actually need a human.

Guesty is about to reshape guest communication with its new ReplyAI features, and our challenge was to create an explainer that brings this automation to life in a clear and engaging way. Taking something as familiar as a message thread and turning it into a rich visual story was all about finding the right balance between simplicity, beauty, and product clarity. Happy to share our new spot for Guesty 's ReplyAI, brought to you by Guesty Studio. #AI #motion #design #motiondesign #chat #messaging #communication

The "Glovebox Audit" is the silent killer of the 100-unit portfolio. You’re cleaning out your truck and find a greasy $428 plumbing receipt from four months ago. The year-end statements are out. The books are locked. Now you have a choice: Call the owner and look like an amateur, or eat the bill and work for free for the next two months. Most high-level operators choose the "Silent Bleed." They throw the receipt away to protect the relationship. Here is the truth: It is not your fault. You aren’t "disorganized." You’re just using a legacy tech stack that expects you to be a human scanner. You’re trying to run an enterprise on a manual engine, and it’s turning you into an interest-free bank for your owners. Guesty built a bridge to stop the bleed. It's called the Guesty Card. When your tech swipes at the hardware store, the receipt syncs to the accounting module before they’re out of the parking lot. It auto-flags the correct owner and readies the charge instantly. Stop subsidizing your owners' ROI with your own commissions. 👇 See how to plug the leaks in your 2026 margins here: https://lnkd.in/dtxtgGie

With Guesty’s new side navigation, the product is built around a flatter, faster design with fewer clicks and more screen space. What looks like a simple navigation update is rarely simple from a design and motion perspective. As a PMM, my role is to bridge the gap between product changes and real user adoption. To make sure users not only see what’s new, but actually understand it, use it, and navigate it in the most intuitive, frictionless way. Because great user experience isn’t just about features. It’s about creating a flow that feels natural, reduces friction, and supports users in getting things done effortlessly. That’s exactly what guided this update to the navigation in Guesty , simplifying how users move across their daily workflows. Always aiming to push the platform one step forward in truly supporting our users. Huge thanks to: ‏Gil Sheffi‏ ‏Tessa Eskin‏ ‏Shimi Cohen‏ #Guesty #NewNavBar #userexperience
