This Earth Day, we’re proud to spotlight solutions that make a real impact—both for our planet and for K-12 schools. 🌎🐄🏫 With Udderly Cold milk solutions, schools can take a meaningful step toward sustainability while improving daily operations. By eliminating single-use packaging, reducing food waste, and lowering energy consumption, this approach helps create a more efficient and environmentally responsible cafeteria model. ♻️ But the benefits don’t stop there. Schools also see reduced labor demands, less operational waste, and increased student participation and milk consumption—proving that sustainable choices can also drive better outcomes. At LMS Associates, we’re committed to helping schools implement smarter, greener solutions that support both students and the environment. Let’s continue working toward a more sustainable future—one lunchroom at a time. 🌎 #EarthDay #Sustainability #K12Education #SchoolNutrition #FoodWasteReduction #EcoFriendly #GreenSchools #SustainableSolutions #ClimateAction #LMSAssociates Amber Fiedler Ben Arce Michael Fiedler Jeff Glenn Uriel Dominguez Soto Elizabeth Chaney, CFSP Melissa Bordelon Carmen Lerma, M.Ed., SNS Jeremy Smith Paden Dowse Kim Wandrey Kim Wandrey Mike Via Robert Webb Peter Carroll Udderly Cold Milk Solutions LMS Associates
Apr 2026It’s been 4 weeks since I stepped back to focus on my health, and in the space that’s created, I’ve found myself thinking, really thinking, more than I have in years. Not just about work, but about where things are heading. I’ve recently started a fantastic course learning more about AI, how it works, how to actually build agents, how it’s going to shape the way we all operate. And the more I get into it, the more one thing keeps coming back to me. This isn’t just about what AI can do. It’s about who we are while we’re building and using it. Because the quality of AI won’t come from the technology alone. It will come from the human traits of the people building it. AI can analyse, respond, optimise. It can do things faster and better than we ever could. But it doesn’t care. It doesn’t notice when someone’s off. It doesn’t check in. It doesn’t create trust or safety or that feeling that someone’s actually got your back. That part is still on us. And if I’m honest, that’s the part business has often got wrong. Being kind. Looking after people. Taking the time to care. Somewhere along the way, that got labelled as soft… or worse, as a weakness. It’s not. Take that away and people hold back. Take that away and energy drops. Take that away and performance follows. The best teams, the best businesses, the ones that really work, are built in environments where people feel safe, supported and seen. Not occasionally. Consistently. And it doesn’t take much. A quick message. A proper conversation. Actually listening, not just waiting to talk. If anything, the more capable AI becomes, the more this matters. Because the real edge won’t come from the tools. It will come from the humans using them. So yes, learn AI. Use it. Build with it. But don’t lose the part that makes any of it work in the first place. Be human. Care more. That’s not the soft stuff. That’s the difference.
