It is with a heavy heart that I share the passing of my colleague and friend, Sharon M. Lagier, CMIP, CIC, AIS Lagier, on April 11. I had the privilege of working alongside Sharon for more than 20 years. While neither of us could ever pinpoint the exact year she stepped into her role managing our client accounts, what we do know is that the past two decades were an incredible journey—filled with dedication, collaboration, and shared successes. One of the milestones we proudly celebrated together was joining Heffernan Insurance Brokers in 2025. Sharon was deeply committed to her work and to the people around her, and she will be greatly missed by all who had the opportunity to work with her. She is survived by her daughter, Lauren, her son, Caleb, and the light of her life—her granddaughter, Averi. For those who have asked about honoring Sharon’s memory, contributions can be made to Averi’s college fund. Please feel free to email me at BarbaraG@HeffIns.com , and I will share the details. Rest in peace, Sharon. Your impact and legacy will not be forgotten.
