LinkedIn company profileHinge is the dating app designed to be deleted. In today’s digital world, singles are so focused on sending likes and looking through profiles that they’re not actually building meaningful connections and going on dates. Hinge is on a mission to change that by designing the most effective app experience. We want to create a less lonely world by inspiring intimate, in-person connections. Relationsh

Proud to see Friend’s Take launch today. This feature brings a new layer of authenticity to the Hinge experience by letting the people who know you best help tell your story. A huge thank you to my team for the thoughtfulness, creativity, and persistence that brought this to life. Excited to see how our members use it and where we take it next.
Jul 2026Today, we're launching a redesigned onboarding flow on Hinge . We understand that getting started on a dating app can feel overwhelming, so we rebuilt the experience to be more supportive and feel less like a checklist you need to power through. This was a huge undertaking by our team where every UI component received a visual refresh and we went deep into every interaction to find ways to reduce friction. A big congratulations to everyone on this impressive work! 👏💜🌱
May 2026“Dating is exhausting.” We hear that constantly across research, conversations with daters, and from our own community. So it wouldn’t feel honest to only tell the “happy ending” stories from couples who met on Hinge without acknowledging the emotional complexity it often takes to get there. This week, we launched "Can't Believe We Met on Hinge" – the third chapter of our “It's Funny We Met on Hinge” campaign. The first two chapters explored the unexpected and serendipitous ways people meet today, while this iteration goes deeper into the emotional reality of dating before finding a partner. The seven real couples featured in this campaign were skeptical, discouraged and close to giving up on dating altogether. But underneath that exhaustion was a quiet, cautious hope that that real connection might still be possible. That emotional tension is something so many daters, especially Gen Z, understand intimately. And it’s why we wanted these stories to feel honest: messy, imperfect, vulnerable, funny and human. This is my first campaign as Hinge’s CMCO, and I am incredibly proud of the Hinge team and our partners at Birthday Collective for bringing this vision to life with so much care and empathy. May 202679 percent of daters on Hinge want to skip small talk and just plan a date. All of our efforts aim toward one core metric — great dates. *Everything else follows.* Kudos to the team for this launch — our most adopted feature of all time in test!

Apr 2026I’ve spent a decade thinking about dating products and one lesson has become incredibly clear: more is not better. More time spent, more features, more content, more choice – it all adds friction and takes away from what actually matters - people connecting. Most apps today add “more” because they’re optimizing for engagement. But as Jackie Jantos says to The Wall Street Journal- dating today is challenging enough. Our goal at Hinge is not to keep people on their phones. It’s to get them off the app and spend time together in person. Over 50% of our users are Gen Z, a generation that came of age during the pandemic and as the first true social media natives. They want real, in-person connection. Every decision we make serves this goal. Every feature has to answer one question: does it increase the chance two people actually meet? Jackie said it best: What grounds us is how we build something useful for the next generation. And that’s how we stand out. By building a product that works for people looking to meet. She unpacks this and more in her Bold Names interview below. Worth a listen for anyone thinking about the role of technology in how we connect.
