Last week I shared my journey from Call Center Agent to COO with our leadership team at HomeServe USA in Chattanooga. This slide captures something I’ve believed for a long time: the biggest risk in your career is not failing, it is getting stuck in the crowd. Plenty of talented people across many businesses work hard, perform well, and bring a great attitude. But when everyone is doing the same things to advance, progression can be difficult. The real question for our team was: what unique additional value can you bring to the business to enhance our customer experience, help us achieve our goals, and support your own development? In my experience, career growth often comes from finding a different way to contribute, solve problems, and make yourself genuinely distinctive while still helping the business reach its objectives. And to be clear, the route to progress is adding distinctive value, not climbing the outside of buildings! #culture #careerprogression #development #wearehomeserve

I’m thrilled to share that I’ve started a new position as Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) at HomeX Services Group! I want to thank Michael Werner, Jack Werner, New Mountain Capital and David Wiser for all of their support throughout this process. I can’t wait to get to work with this talented team! As excited as I am about the future, I do want to thank my colleagues at HomeServe USA for an amazing seven year run. I will miss you all. Let’s do this!
