A two-year inventory dispute where a 3PL contract ended. The count was not the problem. The data was. We were brought in to count inventory for a mid sized international company before a facility move. The 3PL had just lost the contract over two years of accuracy complaints. Our audits failed the same way. What was on the floor did not match what was in the customer's records. So we did what an independent count is built for. We walked every location with the customer and validated the physical reality, item by item, bin by bin. Here is the lesson that has stayed with me. What is in the bin is what you are accountable for, not the line in the ERP, not the value finance booked last quarter. The thing you can touch. A proper audit does not fail the customer. It exposes the true value of what they have. Sometimes that value is lower than expected. Sometimes higher. Either way, that is the count doing its job, not failing at it. The same principle applies to MRO storerooms, where the system and the shelf drift apart quietly until someone is paid to look. If your last inventory engagement felt like a failure, the first question is not whether the count was right. The question is whether the system was. #PhysicalInventory #InventoryManagement #MRO #SupplyChain #ALLSERV #IndustrialOperations
May 2026Branding works. Here is the proof - San Juan, Puerto Rico. ALLSERV cap and backpack on the flight. ALLSERV Yeti by the pool. Standard kit for me, on or off the clock. On Tuesday, while I was at the resort, someone in Puerto Rico landed on the ALLSERV website. Now I cannot prove the two are connected. That is not how attribution works, and any honest marketer will tell you the same. I can tell you what I think happened. Someone saw a logo, in an unexpected place, on an unexpected person, and was curious enough to find us. I lead sales, marketing, and operations at ALLSERV. That gives me a view most marketing leaders do not have. The thing I see, again and again, is that the most underestimated channel is the one that does not cost a budget line. It is the team carrying the brand into rooms the company does not pay to be in. A cap or backpack on a plane, a Yeti at a hotel, a polo at a conference badge pickup. A LinkedIn post written by an operator, not a marketer. These are not marketing. They are something stronger, they are signal. If your team is asking why the brand is not showing up in the right rooms, the question is usually not whether you are spending enough on marketing. The question is whether your people carry the brand the way you would want a stranger to see it. Mine did this week. And it worked. #Marketing #BrandBuilding #SalesAndMarketing #IndustrialBranding #LeadershipLessons #ALLSERV This was my actual view.....not AI generated
May 2026A great evening at the Customer Growth Awards in London!🏆 Nice to be with many industry peers celebrating the work being done on retention, growth and always creating real value for customers. I was honoured to accompany Adam Kosky , my ex colleague and CX legend, who was nominated for Account Manager of the Year. 👏 And so lovely to see familiar faces like Rebeca Tristan (one of the best leaders in the industry!), who was there celebrating some of her team’s achievements as well. Customer Experience teams in the tech world have changed a lot over the past few years. It was a nice reminder of how strong and connected this industry is, and how much great work is happening across different companies and teams.
